I'm good with these movements, maybe not for W. Wood's $1K price tag but in general they seem to do just fine. Especially given that watch styles change so quickly - will you be wearing these models in ten years time? Also, I don't mind taking the case back off and trying my hand at regulating these movements, as there's not a lot of risk involved. In comparison, I'll do a double take for a $3K watch with a SW-200 movement, again those are fine, to each his/her own.

I understand why micro brands use them, I am just tired of paying $500 for a watch with one. Myota is a better movement and a serious step up. I have actively avoided this movement for a few years.

I get that. The 9015 is thinner and a 4hz. It's also roughly 2.5 the cost I think. I picked 3 of those watches for under $600 total used so NH movment doesn't bother me. Paid full price on Borealis to support RR.

Small correction.. the NH35 is the date version. The NH35 I have used have been under +/- 10 seconds a day. My sw200-1 was slightly better... maybe +/- 15 seconds a week. My friend's sw200-1 broke the winding function. I forget the term. I like the value of the NH35, but as mentioned by another, $500+ starts to feel like the value is put in someone else's pockets. I suppose the same could be said for a $2,500 watch with a sw200....
