This frame kit is now printed with carbon fiber infused 3D filament (not cut carbo fiber). Are you up for a Kobara strike?!? Let me know what you think about this frame and always . . .Fly Fearlessly friend! 😀 Check out the Kobara, Diamondback & Pygmy Rattler frames at tmacfpv.com/fpv-pilots-den/

by the alignment of the weave of the carbon one can see how well this frame is crafted. Definitely going to get this one and the Pygmy soon.

Sweet frame! I’ve thought about building a micro long range with Shark Byte. You should definitely upload your footage in higher resolution. The DVR definitely doesn’t represent Shark Bytes image quality. I have several videos in 1440p on my channel. As always, I appreciate your contributions to the FPV community!

Thank you TitanFPV - I whole-heartedly agree with you about uploading flight footage in higher resolution and the DVR not representing Shark Byte's image quality. As this video was 16 minutes long (and due to time constraints) I chose not to upload in higher resolution (if I did, I may still be waiting on it to finish!)

@@TMacFPV oh, I feel you TMac. Sometimes they take 24hrs+ to process in 1440P or 4K. I have subscribers that comment about them being in 360p initially. 😂 Sometimes I just schedule them 24 hours in advance to drop. I completely understand just wanting to get out content as quickly as possible. Keep your videos coming!

I really like all the thinking you put in your designs. Love it! Will you provide a tune and some pointers toward flight times? My take is that at 143gr you could get 10+ min on the 1404.

Apologize it took this long to get back with you. With a 4S 1100 mah LiPo (for an all-up-weight AUW-including battery of 238 grams) and a flight just cruising around until batt voltage at 14.0 volts (3.5/cell), I got 14:20 flight time (using the 1504.5 2950 Kv motors). Could most likely get more out of it with 1404 2500Kv motors (AirBlade Superman). BF 4.2.6 default BF PID & filter settings, running bi-directional D-Shot with RPM filters. She flies reeeeallly sweet👌 Very quiet too🤫

Another uniboby masterpiece. An exercise in simplicity, lightweight and rigidity. My little Rattler is still going strong. And yes, I did crash it. A lot!
@TMacFPV

Yep, the Rattler's a sturdy beast! This is the other solution I had for you for no mounting adaptors with AIO boards. Holds 2 AIO boards in 2 different stack positions without adaptors

@@TMacFPV the perfect frame for that Iflight beast AIO 50A FC. Can you fit an Air Unit in the back and ditch the Gopro altogether?
@TMacFPV
3 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianoCasemiro Air Unit's too big (long) for this frame. However, there's work being done in FPV Stabilization Tools Facebook Group that basically allows you to stabilize any HD camera (like a Tarsier, Runcam Split, etc.). Not very "user-friendly" yet but the progress is steady and fairly fast. Also, firmware upgrades, etc. are in-works for Shark Byte. I believe sometime this year we won't be needing an externally mounted camera (like the GoPro anymore)

For aio mounting in traditional mounting position no side screws?
@TMacFPV
3 жыл бұрын
Correct- in "traditional AIO "diagonal" mounting position, no side screws. I've been flying mine without side screws on my "floating" 20x20 to AIO 3D printed adaptor for quite awhile and it works fine. For this build, as you can see in the video. I mounted the front 25.5x25.5 Shark Byte board "non-traditionally" (sides parallel to frame sides) and the AIO Flywoo board "traditionally" in the back with only front and back mounting screws. Secure, flies great, saves weight too!

I see in the video the flight is bobbing back and forth could that be the result of just front and back points of the fc aio being mounted? Love the look of the frame but the lack of full mounting of fc isn’t admirable
@TMacFPV
3 жыл бұрын
@@brandonmoody3571 nothing to do with FC mounting at all, it's solid & secure. FC doesn't "wobble" at all, only needs 2 mount screws. Did you see the wind from the flag blowing at the park? It was 40mph winds I was trying to fly in!
