if i have people filling out my form that don't have an office account, how do they reach the form they just saved?

I'm a high school science teacher, and I use Microsoft Forms for my quizzes. I like using timed forms and allowing more than one response to build in automaticity for my students. (Think of it as flash cards for credit.) I have a feature suggestion. In Form settings there should be an option to "Only send email if score is above a certain threshhold." That would help me focus on entering grades only for scores that are above a certain level.

Also, in regard to editing of responses, in the responses analysis, is there a way to identify which responses have been edited from initial submission (other than a possible revision in completion date)? I think it would be important to know A) which forms have been edited from initial submission (and when they were edited), and also it would be nice to be able to see what the prior version of the initial submission was before it got edited. Are those options?

Mike, great video as always. I am assuming you can only save and/or edit completed forms if you are a M365 user (w/ Forms license), correct?

Save and Edit responses need re-working. It is a much needed feature but falls short of requirements., the ability to save and edit needs to happen before they submit. Submit should be I have now finished with my answers and no long allowed to edit. Allowing the user to submit and then edit will cause major problems with the person managing the responses. What is needed is to allow the use to save their progress and come and finish it off later and then submit. So frustrating!!!

Exactly. An obvious feature that has been missing since day one that literally every other form engine supports. Crazy.

Hi there. In regard to sharing the QR code while presenting, does the response distribution show for everyone who is viewing the powerpoint? I would think if you used it as a quiz and people could see which response people are selecting that it would sway the answers of others who have yet to respond. Is there a way to hide the responses coming in until the presenter wants to display them on the screen?

I always have issues using Forms ( and whiteboard and live powerpoint)for students not on our college system, it asks for the user to sign into a Microsoft account, and the level of students I teach it's not worth the hassle. I tend to use a system that doesn’t need any type of log in/registration etc. Unless I'm doing something wrong 😢, as I love to use Whiteboard, Live PP and Forms.

Hi. You will need to change a setting in the form settings from people from your organisation can respond to everyone can respond.

It looks like *submit* and edit...not quite the same thing as saving a form in progress to come back for editing later.

Mike!!! Teachers have been requesting a time stamp option in the response receipt!!! (“Thank you message”) - it’s useful for hall passes. PASS TO DEV PLEASE!!!!!

Hey Mike, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?

Hi Mike, Are these features going to be released gradually, or are they already available? Also, is the Forms icon an 'add-in' or is it something that just will appear when the update rolls out?

After editing the form for the second time, it looked like there was only the option to submit. Is there a limit on how many times responders can edit?
