I implemented AppSheet in my previous work, and it proved to be a very quick but powerful tool. I tried PowerApps recently and it is more customizable, but not user friendly nor as easy to implement

That's definitely a major drawback for Power Apps! Are you still using PowerApps for your current work, or using Appsheet instead?

Currently using Appsheet. It just makes more sense as a no code app creation solution

I could connect my business listing on both Google Maps and Bing Business. Can I do the same with the Power page and Google site?

- "Apsheet!" - "God bless you!" :) Since I'm not a developer and want to adapt apps to my job I'll walk with AppSheet.

I know every user needs to have an MS licence before they can use Power Apps, which is the roadblock for small companies. How about Appsheet?
@mattbrickwood
Жыл бұрын
Appsheet simply requires users to simply sign in using a cloud provider such as Google, Dropbox, Office365, Box, or Smartsheet.

Thank you for the content; it's very useful and valuable... Please consider, however, discontinuing the talking headshot editing in future videos. Sure, some may find it visually interesting, but I find it distracting and hope the trend will go out of style soon.

You should be careful when you talk about power apps. Throwing around the phrases easy, simple, are very misleading. In order to develop a robust and functional power app is super complicated and difficult.

Don't forget how damaging these can be to aspiring developers. These are good for business professionals who want to make something quick, but if you put a developer on a low-code app you are killing their career.

Depends how you spin it. If you put it front and centre, you're screwed. If you talk about how you used them to create MVPs to test the ideas before building them out, you're sitting pretty.

@@Skibbi198 this is fine for freelance maybe, but I was in a company that replaced jr dev coding with a lowcode tool with this same promise. What actually happened was they decided each time that it was “good enough” and there was no reason to move it to code. So for a year I developed this way until I quit. No employer wanted to hear “what I’ve been working on”. I was ending interview cycles early if I mentioned how I was building. I had to lie and say I was building with code to get past the first call.

If you have ever used power apps you're not gonna worry about developer careers. Honestly, go learn how to code if you want to make some proper application
