It's because the Bose QC35iis don't have any 'atmospheric pressure' equaliser like the Sony's have. As a result, the Bose headphones' still cause that 'cabin pressure' feeling whenever you wear them. Because the Sony's have an 'atmospheric pressure' equaliser in their app, it completely gets rid of the problem that the Bose suffer from. However, I won't deny that in terms of pure comfort the Bose do beat the Sony's (that's if the noise cancelling is turned off on the Bose headphones).

There is no perfect headphone for everyone pure and simple. My Sennheisers are good for and hour before I start fiddling with them. I dont own the Bose so I can’t comment. on their comfort for extrended periods however they do have bigger cups to fit medium to Bigger ears. which is a plus if you dont have small head and ears. The tension from the. clamping force on bigger heads makes them uncomfortable. Comfort is #1 sound quality #2 below that I wont even buy them period. Don’t care about price as long as they fit and sound good.

The Sony from your review and analysis is clearly the overall winner with only two minor drawbacks with the touch pad not being responsive in freezing weather and doesn't have the ability to pair two Bluetooth devices at once. The rest have far more minuses or negatives and the Sony is the best in ANC and has the best overall sound quality with an app full of features and various customization options.

does the way higher leakage on the BOSE goes hand in hand with the high comfort and not to tight on the head.? But sure. lets do a Frankenstein with BOSE comfort and sound + surface control scheme + Sony ANC and app feature. will wait for a rev2 btw awesome reviews rtings.. happy to see you keeping the standard just as high in headphones as Cedric does on TVs.. btw have you made a video where you analyze the different standards.. as there is a lot of confusion about the different Bluetooth standards and not least aptx variant and likewise and the makers doesn't do anything to inform and instead hump these wireless-standards to the moon and back in so-called advantages that often don't correlate with reality, which wireless standars are superior and what is to preferred and is aptx only in regards to input lag (latency)? pretty confused on this matter.

Please help me. I bought the Surface Headphones one week ago, but I think I will get a refund. I have so many problems with them! First problem: you can't turn off the ANC, that means that you will always have an annoying background noise in the headphones. Why can't I turn it off if I don't need it? You can cancel outside noise or amplify it, but you can't just have natural sound. This is so stupid because every time I am in a quiet room I hear this noise in the ears. Second problem: if I'm connected to a pc and a cellphone and I'm listening music on the pc, every time I do something with the phone the headphones go crazy. If for example I send a message, the music comes and goes. Why is noone talking about these problems?

My wh1000xm2 works in colder climates. Maybe this is a problem with the wh1000xm3. I live in Norway and I did use my headset outside in the middle of the winter and it worked perfectly. It seems like the touch controls is alot more responsive when you use the entire surface of your finger. And to pause it is 2 quick taps not many slower taps like he did in the video. It does not always register if you tap with the tip of your finger. I tried to use the controls of my Wh1000xm2 like he did in the video and it did not even register all my motions when I am inside my home because he did not use it correctly. When used correctly it works.

Geoff BS The Bose is more clear, sound more open, and has a slightly tighter and stronger impact in the deep bass. The Sony has more mid and high bass where it seems more bassy than the Bose but the bass hits duller (softer) and with less rumble/impact. In other words you hear more bass with Sony (softer hitting though) but feel it more with the Bose. I had both. I sold the Sony because there was no eq setting to tighten up the bass to increase the low rumble impact. The bass was just too wooly and didn’t hit low and hard enough. Also I use and always carry two phones. Sony can only pair to one device at a time (which is a deal breaker for me).
@zanemiracle6121

@@h1a8 at the first point. My friend had the same issue so I fixed it for him: 400: 3 1k: 7 2.5k: 3 6.3k: 7 16k: 3 Clear bass: 7 Sound stage: anything bar concert The real comes from the phone, he uses a samsung so I don't know about other phones. Instrument vs vocal: neutral Based vs treble: bass leaning by 2. You actually feel more rumble on the sony but even without the samsung intrusion. You get that feel without. Although take it with a grain of salt since we both use samsungs and I for one always have my regular phone settings pretty well and samsung has fun equalizer if it's own. Combine with concert mode for a trip. I tried to do the same with Bose but it wasn't doing it for me. From a neutral standpoint you're right except I don't quite agree to the bass part from a neutral "stock" sound settings standpoint. But there are most likely other factors like the aforementioned samsung settings

However, this fairy tale did end up badly after my region was hit by the cold weather. Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones are just a piece of useless junk during cold weather periods. And when I'm saying cold, I mean +5 celcius and lower. And if you are living, like I do, in a country where +5 and lower temperature lasts for about 5-6 months per year, you can't use these headphones outside for almost half of the year (because of the touchpad gliches). It's definitely true. However, I still went with the Sonys' because I equalise them to have a sound signature that is almost indistinguishable from the Bose's. Additionally, the Sony's don't produce that irritating 'cabin pressure' like feeling that the Bose's make because they have that 'atmospheric pressure' equaliser in the app.
@Neutrality10
5 жыл бұрын
@@allansh828 The reason why is because of its closed back design. If you want clarity and instrument separation then you'll want to consider open back headphones. Also, the Apple AirPods don't really have that much of a neutral sound. Just look at what Rtings say on their website. Lastly, the reason as to why the Apple AirPods sound cheap is because due to the in-ear design, they completely bypass the outer ear that is necessary to creating a good soundstage.
