This video series is NOT endorsed or sponsored by Music Tribe or any of its subsidiaries. Emperor Uli only cares about selling to profitable retailers, so they don't care enough to give the time of day to local integrators like us who own and sell many of their pro-level consoles. Any opinions expressed in this video are our own and not influenced by any employee of Music Tribe.
If you managed to read through all that, here's a funny story: Music Tribe support is so bad, that even though we are the one of largest owners and operators of Pro series consoles in the Pacific Northwest, we still have to put a ticket through the Music Tribe support website just to get a replacement fader.
We busted the top off of one of the faders on this HD96-24 shortly before filming this video and discovered that, even though almost everything about the HD96 faders is the exact same as the Pro series faders, the part number is different because the cable is less than an inch longer on the HD96 fader. You can't reach the plug on the PCB with a Pro fader. I SPECIFICALLY asked for an HD96 fader in the support ticket, and even put the exact part number. I was adamant that I did NOT want a Pro fader.
And guess what showed up a couple weeks later? A box of 5 Pro faders. A week before we needed to take the console out to the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. It took some very angry emails to get them to actually send us HD96 faders. We had to get by with soldering some extra wire onto a Pro fader's cable, which worked okay but caused some weird ghosting issues.
Fix this, Uli. Yes, selling X32s and Wings to Sweetwater is way more profitable than selling a couple Pro2s to some yeehaws in Portland, but you can't leave us high and dry forever. Give us a better support pipeline. We're begging you.
