I recommand a Telamonas (hand-strap) to be able to play both handed! its what we use on historical repoduction lyres!

A fun fact: You technically have multiple scales to play with by tuning the G into a G#. The main scale here is A Harmonic Minor which would also give you a great middle eastern scale (Start with A and end with A). The fifth mode of that scale would be the E Phrygian Dominant. Great video!

Ancient Greek music used a diverse range of scales and tuning systems. It is not as simple as changing to one specific scale, and it is something I'm still trying to grasp. A quick way to sound more ancient Greek is to use an historical lyre. For example, in this video, the Star Wars theme was played on an ancient Greek lyre. I would be very happy if you fulfill my request. 2 of the songs are Turkish and 1 is English.
