@@BoverdeseKnuttz nah, it’s a double correlation: one, the fact that only someone with the iron will and steel skin of a stage hand can tolerate the mocking that comes from having long hair in middle school, and two, the fact that once your hair is long enough to do a ponytail, you immediately look eager and trustworthy to the middle-aging music and drama teacher who’s fondly reminiscing his hippie years. Thus, he’ll impart to you his hard-won, forbidden methods to be the most effective stage hand and set designer.

Never really finish school cuz I was too busy in the streets but I can appreciate the fact that they had the balls to go up there and play in the first place that goes harder than most people I know from my neighborhood. And on top of that they probably graduated and became something in life that's more gangster than anything I could ever have done . realshit

As a guy who has taught music to kids before, this is pretty common. Congrats on these boys for taking it like champs though. I've seen some kids have meltdowns.
