OK, so no sound after the 5-mile point. I'll upload a replacement end tomorrow, unless youtube suddenly sorts it out. Annoying.
After repairing & re-aligning this 1989 radio, it was time to test it.
At 3:14 I had a coughing attack & we resumed 10 minutes later, hence the different camera angle!
Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. He stopped at the 5-mile point & we conducted a low power test. This set was 320mW on low power & 4W on full power.
Not helped today with interference.
Our continued thanks go out to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio fitted in our test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.
