Dennis worked on top as a heel in Tennessee, in the 70s, early in his career, often in singles against a babyface Bobby. Dennis could always talk, & Bobby was OK too....But who's a better talker than Cornette? Not many!

Ohh he had a lot of personality. He once ribbed tojo and Phil. Tojo did not like gay people. Phil and Dennis pretended to be gay and planned to have Phil pretend to have him mouth open while he was on his knees. They knew tojo was coming in. He ended up placing his member is phils mouth when tojo walked in. True story.

Loved watching these guys as a young wrestling fan in the 80's. Had the opportunity to see them live in 1986 a few times when Crockett expanded into Philadelphia. The Midnight Express always gave you one of the best matches on the card. RIP Bobby Eaton. Unfortunately, I hear that Dennis Condrey had been battling throat cancer and is speaking with the assistance of an artificial voice box these days but is cancer-free. Thanks for all of the great memories and classic matches gentlemen.

As a kid, I was literrally scared of Dennis and Phil Hickerson when they were in SECW, Knoxville. Especially, Dennis because his act made you think that he would slap the snot out of you at the drop of a hat. Glad folks get to see this interview prior to Booby's death because these were truly a couple of the most humble, and good-hearted guys in the business.

Hi I had the privilege of putting up the ring for Southeastern wrestling I n Pensacola FL. For the original Midnight Express Dennis, Randy, and Norvell I was ring supervisor it was a privilege and honor. I wish I could have met Bobby. I met Stan in south FL. When he was a Hollywood blonde with Brian St John!!

I remember when you could not wait until wrestling came to town. The storyline was different, you would think the wrestlers were going to kill each other it was so much heat I was a walking enchicapedia about pro wrestling and everyone new it. Though wrestling is great, it doesn't carry the wait of the old days when grandma would smack the heels with their purse. Thank you new Era, But God bless use who witnessed the good old days 60s 70s 80s,!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy people generally accept that Bobby Eaton was exceedingly smooth in the ring but it bothers me that people do not recognize Dennis Condrey’s ring generalship . He was was the shot caller of the trio . Also his skill compares well to Bobby too . His selling was very good . He had an eye for detail .

24:54 Bogalusa, Louisiana has about 12,000 residents, in the 1980's Bill Watts use to run in that town and the Midnight express once sold out a show at the local highschool football stadium, the attendance was over 3k people, so they drew about a quarter of the town's population when they came in to wrestle

Midsouth was not a member of the NWA . It was an independent . They started bringing in the NWA champion to help the board fight off Anti Trust suits that had been plagueing the NWA since the 70s .
