My sister and her baby died when I was 8 or so, as i grew up i became more and more reflective about her. i wonder what life could have been like with her and with her baby and now i always feel that there's something (or someone) missing in my life. i don't have a lot of memories about her but somehow my connection to her grew. she somehow means a lot more to me now. when Erin talked about her baby all i could think about was my sister, and i have never cried this hard and long over a tv show. i really hope Erin's right.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I lost two babies to miscarriage last year and it's the type of loss only a mother can feel. Like you, this scene had a huge impact on me, it's exactly how I see my babies. Little girls, playing together with my other beloved family that have gone. And I'll be so glad to meet them, soon enough.

Didn’t realize it at first, but the slow piano improv in the background of Riley’s speech is “Nearer My God to Thee” the song played in the final death scene of this series (and also famous for being the last song played as the Titanic sank). And during Erin’s speech, you get “Were You There” an old spiritual commonly associated with Palm Sunday and Good Friday services as the death and burial of Jesus Christ is remembered.

I'm spiritual atheist and the speeches from both this character's is what goes on in my head we are born into a world we did not ask for and we spent the first few years of your life not thinking about but when your old enough your mind comes more aware of things and when that happens we ask these two questions and those questions are why do humans exist and what's the point and believe it or not the real answers to these puestions are there is no Reason at all to anything that exists and the point of live is there no point live is what we make of it the only things that we really do know is that we are born we live as long as your live leasted and we die then ❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔Who now's

It's very odd. They literally have a live demon from hell terrorising them, and the best they can do towards theorising what happens after death is that your atoms get mixed up with the dirt so hooray. The writers did not think this through.
