I can't imagine what it was like all of those decades of Campbell and Petty trading guitar licks and songwriting even when they weren't on stage. Like being a fly on the wall.

Me too. I miss Tom and so sad he left us so soon. He deserved a long life with his wife, kids, grand babies and dog. ❤

Tom Petty Rocks! And Mike Campbell is the BEST guitarist EVER! I love Mike's gator guitar. 😊 🐊We were lucky enough to meet Mike in Santa Barbara (where I live) at SOHO club. Also, we are friends with Steve Ferrone's daughter, Becky. We've been to a good 2 dozen Tom and the Heartbreakers shows, and it was never enough. I was invited to the last Hollywood Bowl show but I couldn't get away from work. Big regret. But thank you for interviewing Mike. So good to see him. Keep on rock'in Mike. We love you. 🎸

Wish it wasn't edited to within an inch of it's life. Seems like there was probably a good interview before the ADHD edits.
