I've met Mike a few times, in fact I may have gigged with him on the Eastbourne circuit (pre pandemic) ...that probably makes him an acquaintance! Very down to earth, I'm going to say he'd been on telly already when I met him but he doesn't have a that-kind-of-celeb' swagger, he's always happy to talk shop and is just a cracking bloke.

Lucky to have seen Mike Gunn last night at the Hammersmith Apollo supporting the brilliant Lee Mack. Mike Gunn was excellent. Really naughty and rude, but a great laugh.

@whatifitneversnows their accents and mannerisms are vaguely similar. That is enough for me to make a statement intended to be comedic, which went straight over your head and you exploded like every other internet tough guy I've seen. It's like when Jimmy Carr makes the joke about him not being gay despite his hairstyle and demeanor. We know he isn't gay, and a demeanor isn't enough to make that inference - that's the joke.

@whatifitneversnows battle? How immature can you be? Come armed? You need to take some prozac or something, you're insane.

@whatifitneversnows Not sure if serious. If you've got a problem with someone you've never met and never will to the extent that ad hominem is something you inevitably resort to, then I pity you.
