They don't, because that would be incredibly hypocritical. If there's a country with a worse humans rights record, it's the USA.

People are calling him a hypocrite, but it's not just a Chinese business he's talking to. It's a Chinese business that "has ties to the government." That's different, therefore he's not being a hypocrite. Prince's business doesn't have ties to the U.S. government, his business is just in the U.S.

It would be racist if a comment would be made with the same attitude about another race, I guess you'd say. You're just captured/influenced by one of the dogmas (still in its' infancy) of modern day; the antiracist one, which flies in the face of reasonable, secular viewpoints on race and religion (it has features of a religion in some ways itself, with terms like "problematic" resembling "heresy" closely, among other things) generated mostly in the past 400-500 years or so, when it has been decreasingly lethal to have such views. You're very likely from the US, at least from the English-speaking world. You probably lack a frame of reference for things outside it, or things within it, but from a different time. You maybe think you have something "modern" in your head, when in fact, it's just the same power struggle it ever was, with various pro in-group and anti out-group talking points, in this case (referring to location and time period) coming from various minorities in the US, against "whites" (themselves a broad group).

As if that has any relevancy. Taking a moral stand in the moment isn't some how directly related to immoral choices made by ancestors that came before. Is that how your morality is governed? You act with immorality because your ancestors did the same? The writers didn't go in your direction because it would've sounded petty and ridiculous.
