But, for Mathew Stafford... Georgia and Alabama do not produce elite pro quarterbacks. That's just facts. Carson Beck or Quinn Ewers would not last 5 games with the CU OLine. Carson Beck should never be mentioned again for only posting 13 pts vs Kentucky. Really!! Stevie Wonder can see Shedeur Sanders has elite QB skills. It's not close

No way Shedeur is the top qb. And to say that last pass wasn't a hail mary is just silly. It's picked or knocked down if the db does fall. His inability to manage the pocket is going to be his downfall. And yes, many (not all, not most, but many) of the sacks are his fault.
@Mr.GoldCoast516

The other pundits and "quarterback Gurus" like Paul Finebaum and Coach JB only hate on Coach Prime and Shedeur because it drives clicks and views to talk about Coach prime and Shedeur and in JB's case he's just blatantly pushing an agenda that Shedeur isn't a good quarterback with the eye test clearly shows that he's a top-tier quarterback

@@cossandraspirlin6930 that's very true but it still isn't right to try to tear down a kid who just wants to play football and just because he's super confident in his abilities they wanna label him cocky and arrogant and the that coach Prime gets is because he doesn't sugarcoat or BS you he tells you like it is whether you like it or not and the media and pundits can't stand that

The only reason why Shedeur is not a clear cut #1 by “experts” is because of his last name. He’s slow: he ran for multiple yards to extend drives and ran in a TD. He’s size: he is 6-2 like Mahomes and Lamar. His accuracy: he delivered, in rain, not one but TWO pinpoint throws of over 40 yards to win the game. (One dropped of course). But his intangibles: he felt pressure from the back, dipped out of a sure sack and hit O Miller for a TD. NO qb is doing more with less consistency from the o-line in college football. Nobody. Yet this man is always calculatedly labeled “polarizing” over the top QB prospect in college football. It’s ridiculous.

Travis is so great that other teams knows it too. There starting to focus on shutting down travis by any means necessary offensive and defensive. But there are things Colorado can do to counter it. Put travis in motion. Pump fake and travis double move pass plays. Or use hunter as decoy and throw to OTHER GUYS....😮 Waiting for hunter to outrun a double team is not good reason to take sacks. Throw to someone else...keep the offense on the field and give hunter more opportunities later in the drive. When CU eliminates all its tendencies they become unguardable. 🎉🎉

I’m really not trying to be a hater but this narrative that this guy is saying about Sanders being a guy that you have to beat by multiple scores and he’s so elite at winning close games is just flat out not true. He lost 5 one score games last season. Yeah he puts up video game stats against crappy teams but against good competition he rarely has good games. I’m not saying he’s not good or doesn’t have the potential to be an elite NFL QB but because of all the things I pointed out is why I don’t think he’s the top pick in the draft. I reserve the right to be wrong just my opinion.

@@TalkingAboutNothingWithJ drafted. I think a team will give him a shot at being their starter and regret that decision. Name one QB who was drafted high, was in a bunch of commercials, and was constantly in the headlines that is a good pro. All I can think of is Baker. And it took him 5 years to mature. I think it'll take just as long if not longer for Shedeur. I personally doubt he ever will mature, because look at his Daddy at 57. Still as immature as he was when he played.

Matt " His pocket presence is insane; you can't get him on the ground" while talking about a guy who has been sacked 125 times in 3 1/2 years as a college quarterback. You can't make this stuff up!
@tenneseeoiler
5 күн бұрын
If you actually watch the games, he would’ve been sacked probably closer to 200 times if not for all the times he’s dubbed out of spun out of or simply just was strong enough to stand up and get rid of the ball before counted as a sack. Obviously, he could be put on the ground, but those are usually direct hits straight into his head, chest or back from an untouched lineman .
@kevinpopham2956
5 күн бұрын
@@tenneseeoiler I've watched him play. He doesn't read coverages well and he doesn't get the ball out of his hands. The sack he took on 4th and 8 is a perfect example. They ran a dig/deep in route with a post behind it to high/low the safety. Travis ran the dig, Jimmy ran the post. The safety bit down on Travis and Shedeur didn't throw the post. It was wide open, should have been a touchdown, instead he held the ball, then tried to make a defender miss and ended up taking a sack. It is a basic read for any quarterback and he missed it. When you watch it on all 22 he is staring right at the safety. It happens every game, he misses easy reads and takes bad sacks.
@@kevinpopham2956Every QB misses reads. I do think he holds onto the ball too long at times. But the MAJORITY of the time, he reads the game well.
