Aww, my heart, when Mike answered what he’d send to Cus if he could in an email, “how did I do”? Cus would be so incredibly proud of the boy he took in, trained to be the warrior, champion, and man he’s grown to become now I think would say, “oh, Mike, you did amazing, more than I could’ve ever imagined for you. I’m so proud of you. I love you son.” For that to be his question makes me sad. I think he knows what Cus would’ve thought about how he did but he would want to hear it from him! Beautiful message; full of love, respect, and the boy in Mike who is still in there wanting to hear as a man how the man he admired most, trained him, & cared for him like a father to a son felt he did in his career! Touched me deeply! ♥️

Cus was 100 times more of a father to Mike than my own father was to me. Be that as it may, I’m not resentful or envious of him, no, not at all. Why should I be? In fact, I’m very happy for him. I’m proud to see that Mike has overcome his demons to become the man he is today. And without Cus, none of that would have happened. But on the other hand, without Mike, Cus would’ve had nothing to live for, nothing to motivate or drive him, or anything to give him purpose in life. And to me, that’s about as beautiful as a father & son relationship can be.

As much as i love mike tyson, but i feel like he didnt live his life to the fullest his potential can lead. He became the best boxer ever but the downfall after cus died was huge and he missed 10s of years between drugs anger and mental issues. I wish by now he would he have no regrets but for sure it‘s a pure idol to anyone in this life

@DanNantz if you're old enough to remember Mike as a younger man and see him today, it's very clear he spent a good chunk of his life being thr Hulk and now he found a balance between those dichotomies. Went from one of the most dangerous men on earth to a man that is teaching younger men to not make the same mistakes. I can only praise that
