Mike Tyson to Umrah (Mekka) • Mike Tyson performs Um... Tyson gives a peek a boo lesson. Check also a interview from the great Muhammad Ali: • Muhammad Ali interview...
You can tell Tyson is enjoying this interview. Probably thinking "Finally a reporter that wants to talk about boxing and not about tabloid shit" Probably didn't hurt that the reporter knew what he was saying and has a genuine interest in boxing.

Yeah, great dude. When he tells Tyson about his favorite combination, you can feel that Mike is a little embarrassed, ashamed. In a positive sense, of course. Sensitive people get that way when they hear praise about themselves. With Christ.

Holyfield said Foreman in his 40s hit way harder than Tyson... and Larry Holmes said Ernie Shavers hit way harder than Tyson, and Holmes was old, fat, untrained, and retired for 2 years when he fought a prime Tyson. But Mike did have good handspeed, it's no ''prime Ali''.. but he still had great handspeed, and good power in both hands. But prime Ali (Ali before he was banned for over 3½ years in 1967) had the best handspeed of any heavyweight of all time, no power though, prime Ali chopped guys down over a few rounds. Tyson struggled in his prime against some pretty bad fighters though, Tony Tucker had a broken wrist and took Tyson the distance when Tyson won the IBF belt... and Tyson in his prime went the distance with some terrible fighters, James Tillis, Mitch Green, Bonecrusher Smith. Tyson always struggled against guys that were 6'4'' or taller, no matter how bad they were. I'm not sure if it was psychological or not, because Cus told Mike he wished he was bigger.
@IncubusOfDeath

Well each has their opinion of Mike:) I've seen videos and read countless stories of the boxers of the past. Seen Ali in fights etc. And in any of those old videos of the 20's, 30's, 40's 50's, etc. I won't go before that because anything before would be silent videos in black and white that are sped up. But I can say this, that none of those boxers of the past came out with the ferocity and explosiveness of Tyson. When we first got a glimpse of Tyson on television you could "feel" his power punches pummeling an opponent through the television. Not even Foreman or Ali made me feel that. Tommy Hearns yes, for his weight class had some serious power as well as Roberto Duran. But they never made me feel what Tyson did. One guy from the late 1800's, was another legend, who won championships all the way into 1915. Most of his early fights were bare knuckle. That man's name was Jack Johnson. So as I said, "To Me" Tyson is my favorite.
