*(Some background.... this is an older video that was originally on the channel, it had about 2 million views before being taken down due to copyright unfortunately. I have now removed the footage I was having issues with before and replaced it with other clips and added in some new sections. I've tried my best to keep the video as close to the original while remastering some other areas. Hope you all enjoy it!

Jack Johnson, Rocky Marciano, and Mike Tyson. My favorite western boxers. But Mike has been nothing short of inspirational to me, and my students. As early as late '84 or early '85 our teacher was predicting that Mike was looking to, one day soon, become the heavy weight world champion, which he did. Thanks for this presentation of Cus D'Amato and his #1 protege Iron Mike Tyson. All the best! Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association

Inoya Inoue said something that indicates that he understands one of the keys to becoming elite in boxing. Paraphrasing it was “ I have to keep pushing higher at this time Becuase the most difficult part is maintaining the correct mindset”. He didn’t say it was the physical preparation and training that was difficult it was maintaining mental strength and focus that was the challenge. Iron Mike knew that he couldn’t continue boxing near the end because the desire and state of mind wasn’t there anymore. In a long ago interview with Cus, he said Mike would attain the top level and stay there as long as he wanted. By wanted he clarified it to be for as long as he maintains the mental strength required to remain the champion status. “Everyday in every way, better, stronger”… mantra. Fantastic ending to the video. “How did it do ?” ,,, i think is something we all want to know, and the acknowledgment from our mentors or our guardians through our lives !

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I really appreciate this special knowledge. You nailed it when u kind of suggested that this level of focussed training could be attempted with an other but Iron Mike MADE the training possibilities possible. This video touches on many intangibles that for me as a MT fan ring true. I always wondered about how this man managed to do what he did. The 'hypnosis' vibe rang true. I can see it. BUT, of course the physical relentless stamina and strength conditioning PERMIT the monster to DO what is a 'spiritual' thing. I thank u again, so cool and valuable. I hope others see what I see here. Awesome stuff.
