when they signaled 10 seconds left in the 2nd round Mike landed a body shot to the liver. go back and you can hear it pop. You can then see Roy limp to the corner with his right arm down. This was an exhibition fight with a predetermined outcome (Draw), and both fighters (especially Tyson) were holding back with their punches, especially their head punches, and were told not to be too offensive and go for the kill. So what we got was basically a sparring match. And I was cool with it. You'd think a sparring match would've favored Roy, because we're taking Tyson's power advantage and aggression away. The two were pure boxing. So it impressed the hell out of me that Tyson outboxed Roy all night long. Tyson dominated the match with better boxing skills. That's the part of Tyson's game that was underrated. People think of Tyson as a slugger, but he was a fantastic boxer. He has great head movement, rolls with punches beautifully, uses angles perfectly, has great footwork. Even more impressive is the fact that Tyson literally hadn't boxed, or even trained, in like 15 years coming into the fight. Roy has been very active in the boxing gyms, and had still been boxing pro not that long before - and has since fought again, in a sanctioned fight. It's incredible how great of an athlete Tyson still is. His reflexes are there, he can still crouch low to avoid punches, and then spring back up. He still has his legs - unlike Evander Holyfield. Tyson is one of the freakiest athletes to ever live. The amazing part is so is Roy Jones, it's just that Tyson is an absolute freak of nature

I think he wanted to be back (and the pay day) but more than JUST that, Tyson could have fought Tyson Fury and gave him a run for his money!!! I don't think Mike would have won at his age, but maybe.
