Ha! Oh the wonders of hindsight! "I've got a good feeling, my friends. I think 2020's going to be a really good year." :P EDIT: I was really interested by the question, "Who was the most evil person you've ever met." Having worked as an aid worker in places like Sierra Leone and have met war lords, the most evil person I've ever met was too, when I was at school. I've genuinely had conversations, 20 years later, with people I was at that school with and not one of them believes that he's not in prison. I have a degree in psychology and anthropology and firmly believe he was a psychopath. The school was very poorly run and was quite publicly closed down (Stanbridge Earls). He was a monster. I genuinely have memories of him making me do push ups, with a hunting knife pressed against my finger and if I stopped, he said he would cut it off. The thing is, to this day I have no doubt he would've done it. Physically and mentally hurting people gave him an extreme sense of joy.

Sounds like the staff at our school. Several of them had killed people during the war (the French master had been a commando on D-Day; the science teacher was a Mosquito pilot flying unarmed over occupied France at tree-top height) and they didn't have much truck with "modern teaching methods" like being nice to the kids. Turns out PTSD is contagious.

@@nagoranerides3150 My father flew in Mosquitos. Definitely not all people were like that though. It was only after my uncle died that I found out that he was in the war, he spent a number of years in a Japanese PoW camp. He was experimented on, including things like weekly lumber punctures. I have no doubt that he must have killed but you'd never find a kinder, gentler man. He was never the same when he returned and my aunt (maternal side of the family) took the time to get to know the reclusive giant of a man. They were married for over 50 years. When she died from side effects from a drug, when in hospital, he died literally a couple of weeks later. He just turned off.
