It is Ms. P. I love that this soldier's daughter could have her dad surprise her with his presence at her H.S. graduation. But why did her parents send her into the lion's den, as the foundation of this school's history is centered in segregation? Her family members were the only Black folks there, or so it seems, which is disturbing to this Black man, as the optics are atrocious (to put it mildly). I hope Canton Academy (Mississippi) has mightily moved on from its sordid past, and THOSE PEOPLE understand tokenism isn't its own reward. Can't we all get along...so many "Christians"...can't we do better...because we are better than we've been? (KFB, 043019).

Kevin Boone This father appears to be an Air Force pilot. If this is true, he holds a very distinguished position in the Air Force and U.S. military. He can be justified in feeling proud of himself representing an accomplishment paved by Tuskegee Airmen. He would be considered a current role model for his daughter, his family and an influencer to so many others. This is really GREAT. Rather than complain, be thankful. And make a change in positive ways. Blessings.🙏

These are so wonderful. But they hurt me deeply. I got back from Korea early and decided to surprise my family. All I got was, your home early. You need to get a motel room as we have no room. I went back to the airport and waited to get a flight to my new station. I was hurt deeply and carry that to this day. To the family's who share these videos, my heart goes to you and please, so very please, continue to carry the love!
