Yup, but it's you won't need if you aren't power lifting, but when you get to the peak where a slight miscalculation can mean injuries, you should definitely buy one.

@ariawar Absolutely go in with a mindset to execute the lift correctly! Go through all the checks, get a proper grip, push out the abs against the belt, set your stance, flex the lats etc. There will be some back lean when the weights get challenging. Come with the mindset to execute a proper lift! When it doubts get a video of yourself doing the lift, if you see incline pressing something is wrong, if you are afraid to move 1 cm something is wrong, Approach each lift with your checks in order!

First of all nice lifting. The OHP is a slow gainer for most people and 205 for any amount of reps is great. Secondly the military press everyone is barking about was designed by " u guessed it" the military and was a very strict lift with heels together and you were not even allowed to move your head. U had to move the bar out around your chin. All in all this video uses strict form with an appreciable amount of weight. Good job!

There was a scientific study done on this: Guys who wear belts actually lift heavy weights. Guys who weigh 84kg and do twice that weight and never wear those stupid belts make those lifts from their keyboard because they never seen inside of the gym.

@therabidliger 225 isnt that much when u compare body weight to dead lift weight... I can outdo most bigger guys at the similar body weight....170, 5`10`` .....more than a 6`2`` 220 lb guy....and especially some fruitcake weighing in at 130 lbs.
