I can't wait to get this in the mail! From my experience with the samples I've gone through - moisturizing before applying is key!

If you shop around, you can get a 4 oz bottle for around $120. I guess I'm lucky. MI lasts at least 10 hours from 2 and a half sprays as long as I wear it on a warm day. For me, it's spring/summer only.

Great video! Love this one! Huge compliment getter. I'm glad you mentioned the new caps. I just got Silver Mountain Water from fragrancenet and was surprised when the cap looked different and there wasn't a Creed logo engraved on the actual atomizer itself. Batch code matches bottle and box. So I should be golden. New subscriber really enjoying your content.

+scorptarget Yeah, I actually like the new sprayers, to be honest. As I have had the previous sprayers leak as times, sadly. =[ SMW is a great scent too, so I hope you are enjoying it! And thanks for the kind words and for subscribing, salute! =]

I LOVEthis scent. I know people say they don't get good projection and longevity on them but this works wonders on my skin. I can easily smell it for a good 8 to 10 hours on me and even people around me can get whiffs of it after that time. It's crazy cuz other power house fragrances don't do well on my skin at all but the one that's suppose to be weak is strong. I think aventus is one that doesn't last on me which is sad because I LOVE the scent. Creeds in general are probably my favorite niche brand. If you like the freshness of this definitely try Erolfa by Creed.

+Abhi K. See my Favourite Fragrances Ranked! feat. AGentlemansJourney video. I'm definitely aware of the great Erolfa. =] And I am glad that it performs super-well on you! If anything, the lack of performance from your Aventus isn't uncommon; seeing as the demand for that juice just forces Creed to make a lot of it, so they can't oversee its quality control among all the batches as consistently, which is sad of course. Thanks for commenting brother! =]

+CascadeScents Yes...your video presentation stands out from the crowd and the audio is excellent. A Gentleman's Journey suggested I check you out...I subbed...and would welcome as wide array of reviews as you can muster. My preference are niche or niche-like designers, indie. Not really into hardly any mall scents (Souvage is vomit IMO, real pissed at Johnny Depp) with just a few exceptions (Mugler is ok, Spice Bomb was interesting but not my gig, but I appreciated what they tried to do, etc). Would welcome some really way-ward and unheard of houses whenever possible, and more Creed just because your videos are so detailed and fun to watch on the house (and I am a fan of VIW). P.S. I actually don't care for Aventus. ;) Nor GIT. GIT to me is simply Cool Water, which is great for headaches. As in giving one a. ;p P.P.S. I REALLY want to try the MI, but others have told me they do NOT get the watermelon...which is what I *do* want. (sigh) It was good to hear you do get a hint of it, encourages me to get a decant.

+Join The Progress Put it this way, if it's not watermelon, it really is some hell of an accord that the citrus forms with something else [I think this was mentioned by Luis from the Creed NYC store]. I'm simplifying it by saying watermelon, but I am telling it how it is. I think you'd like it if you're remotely into somewhat nautical/fruity scents like VIW. And yes, I have since made videos on Dueto Parfums, if you want coverage on lesser known niche houses. Trying to cover all my bases here, but thanks for the really kind words. That's super-encouraging, brother. And salute to Chad for the referral! =]

CascadeScents I will check out Dueto, thanks. I'm pretty involved with fragrances, but still consider myself to have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to identification. And there's a bunch of info you discuss that def goes over my head (which I appreciate, helps me learn). I'm also trying to define exactly what I really like. It appears as tho what is referred to as "fresh" is often what I'm least into, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Very actively looking for the handful that just really grab me, but have yet to find them...have come close a couple times. My favorite ten-plus years ago was Kenneth Cole New York, which has been discontinued. I should've loved Black Afgano for example, but it smelled almost just like 24 Gold (which I can't stand) when I received the decant. But the experimenting IS half the fun, regardless of what does/doesn't work. For me, Aventus is just soggy cardboard drydown. I don't hate or even quite dislike it, but I don't actually LIKE it either...except the opening which did grab my attention. The funny think about that is that the dry down has a fascinating way of invoking memories and feelings, regardless of not being a fan of the scent, and that too is a neat part that I enjoy about frags. Keep up the great work, and perhaps consider doing splits/decants if you have niche or high-end designer frags readily available to you...there is always demand.

+Join The Progress I honestly don't know how people like Aventus drydown either. It's so bland and unimpressive to me. At least the sweet, yet smoky pineapple opening is to die for. I probably won't advertise doing splits or decants here because I personally don't care for those videos. If anything, this is more of a creative outlet for me; one that I want to thrive in though. Maybe if I create a Facebook like page or group in the future, I'd do that there. Thanks for the suggestion though, and for the kind words again. Feel free to hit me up [Manny David] on Facebook one day. Take care! =]

Great review, However, The version mentioned in this video with the newer "fat short sprayer" (maybe 2014 onward) are poor and by all means not the real deal when compared to the pre-reformulated milliseme imperial. No depth, no ambergris , no creed DNA, no performance.

I could do that, but even if I had that bottle too, it would be a poor decision to review it because this one would be closer to what fellow consumers could get nowadays. But yeah, you're right; previous batches are seemingly richer. Thanks though!

Hey Manny do u think mi is redundant if I own smw already in my collection. I find MI has same basenote with smw. What do u think?
@CascadeScents
7 жыл бұрын
The musky base in Silver Mountain Water is way more prominent than any Millésime Impérial base notes in general. Like, Silver Mountain Water is primarily long-lasting tea and some fruit, followed by some white musk. Millésime Impérial is salted watermelon with marine notes, ambergris, and only a hint of musk. Very different scent, and only remotely redundant if you'd use each of them for the same occasions. Just test out Millésime Impérial IRL if you get a chance; it's easier to decide yourself that way. Hope this helps! =]

I always spray this on my clothes and skin! Once my bottle is done I wont be repurchasing. I have Unforgivable and Love and Luck. Chic for Men has a better watermelon scent. I'll probably be getting a 6.7 oz of love and luck once my 100ml bottle is done.

+Red Salmon Minus the performance issues, I don't think that the Ed Hardy or Sean John smell better than Creed MI. The scent for me is just not as well-blended, but that's just me. 6.7 sounds great if you enjoy the Ed Hardy though. And thanks for commenting. =]

I wish I had Sean Jean Multi-platinum bottle! I've never smelled that but the circles I run in I'm pretty much the only one who wears cologne and Love and Luck is a solid hit. When co-workers can smell MI I get great reactions! GIT is the only one I plan on restocking in my collection. Aventus is awesome but I've found clones do the job for me. The only other Creed that I want to try is Erolfa.
