OMG! Listen to the sound it’s making! It’ll surely be a surprise if you haven’t wrecked it dude. ALWAYS start off with no compression and SLOWLY work your way up. Not start at the top end with a “recommended” setting. There isn’t one. It’s trial and error every time with every motor. There is NO” setting”...... you work up to it bit by bit.

IT'S occillitateing and not going over center, not turn revs but going back and forth, way too much compression, you need too check out the rod and see if you bent it,if so bend back and do again with less compression and more techniques!

I have this engine still running. I had mounted it on free flight balsa Cessna, but then plane broke, engine intact. I love this engine :-)

At those rpms it sounds like a diesel car engine 😁

Valami nem stimmel! A füst nem egy irányba megy, hanem oda-vissza. Ez elárulja, hogy nem egy irányba forog.

Way too rich Tom! You should see 7,500 on a Top Flite nylon 7 x 4 on an average original or Indian Mills .75. A modern MA GF3 8 x 3 is an excellent prop for the Mills.

hi fiery - yes indeed. After this initial run, I found that the needle valve tube was not screwed down tight into the venturi intake. Once this was done, she leaned out nicely.
