Matt, FYI I’m an engineer for Milwaukee tool. It seems there might be some confusion among everyone but the hammer function only changes the drill when used in hammer mode, which is for light duty drilling into concrete. A true rotary hammer (the SDS tools) is for heavy duty concrete demo and drilling. There is virtually no reason NOT to purchase the hammer drill version because it operates the same as the non hammer version in drilling and driving mode, except for fractionally longer and heavier, no changes to the load point in those modes, so no difference in runtime.

He literally said this was the unboxing series and would eventually have Milwaukee engineering come in. Go troll the QVC network if you have nothing better to do. And this goes for anyone who like the comment. It’s too early to be hating.

I get it. It's tough to build something and share the process for free on a platform that I created when no one else can see the vision. I know the completed process will have extreme value in the end, but that's hard to see for a regular viewer. I've heard this same argument for the last 4 years. "Stop making so many pressure washer videos." "You've sold out." "All you do is sell stuff." "You don't know anything about detailing." Well...I think I'll keep following my gut and see what happens. I make 5-7 videos a week. You will be just fine if you skip the product videos and watch the 3 or 4 other ones documenting my life.

Matt your having issues with the balanced feel of the drywall gun because most people dont hold it like that. Theres a black rubber grip over the top end of it because you grip it in between your thumb and pointer finger so you can push the screw straight in the drywall easier. Its a must have if you are gonna do alot of drywall.

thats entirely too many products of the same kind for one manufacturer to make. they should make 2 one very cheap entry version with brushed motor and one expensive professional grade with brushless, that's it, why overcomplicate

Yeh I agree. They could get rid of all the versions without a hammer which would then leave 3 drills at different price pointss

Here’s the thing for most consumers, nothing is more versatile than the impact driver. Unless you’re doing a ton of heavy drilling and just want to avoid the sound, of you MUST choose one, get the impact driver first

I can follow so far, but the Impact series was confusing, to much versions there and further investigation is required :). Why get the drill/driver without hammer functionality, that like getting a new car with 2 gears and a door missing. So get the 2nd one with hammer drill just in case you know. I wouldn't be happy with it and it would bother me if I knew there was a better more complete version of the tool i just bought. But i wonder if it can handle drilling through reinforced concrete?? that would be impressive for a small cordless drill. I know have a huge powerful Makita.

For the drywall gun, the "guide" is a clutch to prevent you from over driving screws into drill wall. You set it to the right depth so the screw head sinks, aka dimples, but does not over penetrate and break the paper, which is what you want to avoid when doing drywall. It's also light and highspeed to make hanging drywall more efficient.

I can't deal with running 100+ feet of cord through the mud and have everyone stepping on them or trying to unravel it when its frozen solid in the winter and spend 15 minutes wrapping them up at the end of the day. Ever gone up to the generator to plug in and all the spots are taken!?! xD THANK GOD FOR BATTERY TOOLS!!!!! but each to their own.

:D It was bit funny to watch you try out the M18 Fuel drywall fastener. But hey, can't be a master of all trades in begining. As European, we usually prefer the self loading drywall screwguns such as Hilti SD-M 1. (Edit. It seems you can buy this CA55 self loading magazine for this gun also from Milwaukee. Great to know.)
