Good review!. I’m curious to see if the power stack helps the dewalt. I just bought the m12 kit and both the drill and that impact they’re strong and light weight.

I'll post some more featuring the powerstack but yea the M12 kit you just bought I think you will be happy woth the performance you get out of the impact and the drill

I got the impact kit w a battery, charger and case for just 99 bucks, it was a left over black Friday deal, pretty exited about it. Waiting on my 3/8 adapter to come in so I can bring it to work and see what It can do compared to my snapon taking motors apart

You should see how well that M12 tool does with the 4.0XC. The samsung 20r cells actually have less voltage sag than the 25r cells when used past 15a.

does even better with the 6.0. the 4.0s arent even worth buying once considering the 6.0

i think theyrs prolly a 5-10% power increase on certain tools. theyr is clearly an efficiency increase in battery longevity ie: how long you can run the tool! Id say its 20_30% more efficient. but im not spending the extra money personally.

It's quite funny and useless looking in these small details when other workers dont even look at you on the job site. At least, if they have to look at you, show them how much you love your tool regardless of the brand, lol. And yeah, milwaukee lover here.

Too bad they tip the impact drivers and drills over because of the crappy battery design. I’ll stick with the 6.0
@Snoophouse66
Жыл бұрын
What are you referring to as a crappy design? They’re built very similar to one another with the only difference really being the new oil resistant material and a slightly different footprint. My 5.0 doesn’t tip my tools anymore then my 6.0 does. Could you explain more on what you’ve experienced?

@@powertoolinnovations I actually did a small test last night between my 5.0 and 6.0. Obviously it’s not a super accurate test, but from what I found while trying to knock two tools over (both 1/2 inch stubby impacts) my 6.0 was knocked over 3 more times then my 5.0 and I believe it was from the 6.0 being made of abs plastic, causing it to slip out from under itself where the new oil resistant material on the 5.0 was able to bring the tool back from having the extra grip. Again this test wasnt perfect or super accurate as I was just trying to push them with the same force but from what I was able to do, I believe the 5.0 will tip less then the 6.0.

@@Snoophouse66 That makes sense with materials being different on the high output, I haven't tested this yet with mine other than just setting my tool down with it and I haven't had it wobble or act any more different than my other m12 batteries

The point is Dewalt made an 18V impact driver that can perform like an 18V tool from 2020 with regular batterys with 5Ah and Powerstack while its smaller and simular in weight as an 12V. Milwaukee can't do this. Seriously, as much i like the M12 series, you need extra batterys for a new series of tools while nobody that deep into powertools just keeps M12s. Dewalt at the other hand gives you anything M12 offering in on 18V
