MINATAMIS NA SAGING WITH LANGKA AND SAGO... Gawing mas masarap. This a Filipino dessert made with saba bananas cooked in a sweet syrup made with muscovado or brown sugar and water.
In this recipe, I made a twist by adding ripe Langka or jackfruit and small Sago (tapioca pearls) to make it flavorful.
Ingredients:
18 pcs fully ripe saba bananas
1 kg jackfruit / langka (hindi pa hinimay)
1 1/2 cup water
375 gms brown sugar
1/2 tsp anise seeds or 1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup cooked small sago
