In the early 80's these were known as Roundas. They had savory mince, Chilli Beef, Cheese and Onion, Baked Beans and Chicken and Mushroom fillings. Oven baked or shallow fried. The freezer shop was in Leven and if I remember called Chilly Willies. This was prior to Iceland.

Hi Charlie. I haven't heard of Roundas before. I do have lovely memories of Leven though, having played golf Leven Links and Lundin many times in the 90s.

Hi Geoff, I do like your little gizmo for breaking up the ground beef! I’ve never seen one before. The potato beef patties do look tasty! I bet they would be good cold, too! 😋😊

Hi Judith. Thanks. I bought it especially for breaking up the beef, though it is sold as an avocado smasher too. I didn't try mine cold, will have to do that next time.

Hi Geoff looks lovely on another note my grandmother used to make sage and onion yorkshire puddings think it was a war recipe thing due to not having meat much due to rationing to ad flavour to the plate add 1 tbsp sage and handful fine chopped onion to the mix delicious I use 3 eggs and same amount of plain flour and milk the mix and you'd eat that again 😋 don't forget pinch of salt

Hi Pamela. That's great. I think I mentioned in the video that they should be fine in an airfryer, so I am glad it worked for you.
