_Wasshoi wasshoi!_ Hey man it's been a while, you didn't show up with more BM songs from the new album, hope to see you around with more. We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this recently at Summer Sonic and hopefully they will do the same at Blue Ridge Rock, Aftershock or Louder Than Life and get the crowd going nuts with this. It's their first song released with this new BM reborn and formation. We heard it before the release because they premiere this at Apocrypha - Another One show, and someone leaked this on a fancam, it was fun and really unexpected but everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it. The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when one of them (MomoMetal) is doing the Kabuki moves style. Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festival when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya you can hear in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is called shamizen, also used in Megitsune. I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts. Next suggestion: - METALIZM official MV Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🎸

Babymetal Metali (feat) Tom Morello:- Babymetal have joined forces with Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine for a new single ‘Metali’. The new song is the latest in the Japanese kawaii metal band’s series of star-studded collaborations, and sees them partner with the Rage guitarist for another up-tempo, electrifying track. The group first teased the release last week and, according to the press release, ‘Metali’ is “officially the first song by the newly reborn” group - now consisting of SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL. It also confirms that the single was created with the vision of their crowd forming a circle pit at a metal festival this summer. Babymetal - METALI (feat. Tom Morello)” was released as a digital Single in 2023. The Japanese Title “メタり” has a distinctive style of kana usage. It is written as the nominal form of the made up verb “to do metal”. This song is characterized by the classic metal style of the Japanese band, combined with some j-rap touches that distinguish it from previous releases. And of course, the subject gets more frantic through the classic guitar style of Tom Morello, which fits quite well in the musical Lyrics Translation:- It’s the metal-village festival metal song festival, festival, come together make a ring, make a ring let the party horns dance1 brothers and sisters of metal-village too festival, festival, come together make a ring, make a ring sing together like that, like that, heigh-ho2 you’re a fool if you dance, and a fool if you just look on, so let’s dance3 you have to dance and become a fool like that, like that, like that, heigh-ho you have to dance and sing you have to sing and dance everyone has to dance, dance dance, we don’t go home. dance, dance dance, like that, like that, heigh-ho shake it, shake it like that, like that! sing, sing! sing! like that, like that, heigh-ho! shout, shout! like that, like that heave-ho! heave-ho!4 heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! the people asleep wake up and heigh-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! heave-ho! everyone and anyone5 heigh-ho! ~~ you’re a fool if you dance, and a fool if you just look on, so let’s dance but if you dance to also be a fool when you dance do the metal, do the metal! ~~6 heigh-ho heave-ho! …. (shortened for translation, more heigh-ho and heave-ho follow until the end) Paper horns blown into to celebrate:- "These are shoutings used at traditional festivals. “sore” and “dokkoisho”. This is the same sore used in Megitsune. lyrics sung during the Awa Odori festival. This is a farely long sentence translated but shorter in Japanese. more shoutings used at traditional festivals. “wasshoi”. the Japanese phrase used here literally translates to “the cats and bamboo lids also” which has the meaning of “everyone and anyone” This part is spoken in a traditional way of japanese theater, called kabuki". Song Title: METALI!! (feat. Tom Morello). Original Title: メタり!! (feat. Tom Morello). Artist: BABYMETAL. Lyricist: METAL-NIKI. Composer: RYU-METAL・NORiMETAL. Arranger: MEGMETAL. The Japanese instrument is called Shamisen. Its a three string banjo that is played with a HUGE plektrum. Looks like you are playing with a putty knife. You can shred with that instrument blindingly fast and it is perfect for metal music.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛 The title is a synthesized word from two words : "Metal" and "Matsuri 祭 (festival)" → Metali. And if you want to know the deep meaning of the lyrics please check Professor Hartley's channel (Andrew Hartley). The Japanese traditional instrument is called "Shamisen = Sha・Mi・Sen" meaning three strings. I witnessed this song live twice this month : World premiere (live debut) in a special show and Performance at huge festival "Summer Sonic Tokyo". At the actual venues, this song followed after an intro with Western Kamis' cool instrumental solos. Oh My Buddha! 😍 I got hyped like an idiot in the simplicity of this song and Momoko's extravagant elocution and moves in Kabuki style (and her growl in live show) gave an amazing accent in the exciting repetitiveness. The repetitive わっしょい "Wasshoi" is a call or yell used in Japanese Matsuri (festival). It is a kind of phrase to intensify people's excitement and especially to encourage the power of guys who are carrying a heavy Mikoshi that is similar to a float in Western style festivals. [FYI : In the festival, BABYMETAL was a closing act after 8 artists. Evanescence performed right before them. I was moved to tears by Amy Lee's "Bring Me To Life".]

@@faceplantor5647 Thanks 有難う💛😄。There is no secret at all. I am a 68-yo retired guy so I have a plenty of time to spend for my sake (and my wife's). And I have been a member of The One since 2020 and applied for ticket lotteries as many as I can with member's priority. Nonetheless, I haven't been fortunate enough to get some tickets to the shows I wanted to see, e.g. Day-6 of 10 BM Budokan (2021), Day-1 of Zepp Haneda and Day-1 of Metalverse (both this month). Speaking of my good fortune, I was born in the same homeland with BABYMETAL's where they perform more frequently than the rest of the world (especially arena shows).

At JAPANESE FESTIVALS, you will often see a group of people carry portable shrines on their shoulders. They shout "WASSHOI WASSHOI ... " endlessly as they move about. Usually they are carried by men, but in respect to BABYMETAL, here is a female group => kzitem.info/news/bejne/xaGkv2hvqXt_qaQ Also the main message at festivals are repeated in this MV (sung by Su and articulated by Momo) = There are two types of idiots = one that dances and one that watches. If you're going to be an idiot (by being here) be the dancing idiot. So this song was designed to have people dance and shout, so is totally wild live.
