dude incompetence of b&m employees is something that really irritates me. if you're going to recommend and sell products ESPECIALLY to newbie customers you need to make damn sure you know wtf you're doing. it's a safety hazard and gives the industry a bad name.

As a side note about the history of married batteries I came across some technical data sheets for 110v trickle charge, lead acid chargers I use at work. 1950s ish. They state in the footnotes not to mix non- rechargeable batteries due to the danger of a failed battery being "charged" by the good batteries, not a good situation. There where a lot more details but that's the gist. Since it was normal practice to replace one faulty rechargeable cell, in the days of the data sheet. I guess that "may" be where the idea of married cells comes from. Today we just replace the whole lot with NiCad.

Thanks again. Yet again I've learned something. I'm an experienced vaper but one thing I never considered is something you said right at the start and that's that even if you buy four cells at the same time from the same vendor, they may be completely different and random and that the best we can hope for is that they're from the same batch. Kudos.

I just got the SkyRC MC3000. Pretty expensive but its probably the most in-depth chargers (in terms of information and configuration) I have ever used. Then again I am no Mooch. My 21700's arrived this week as well and they fit in the charger no issues. Though it is around the max length accepted by the charger so you have to insert the batteries pretty horizontal and not the classic 'rock-in' technique into the charger.

Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Very valuable info for the community. I always rewrap my batteries from new and colour code them via the wraps so I know which go together. If one wrap is damaged I rewrap them both again. Batteries aren't that expensive. A pair of good batteries is around $20-$30AUD and usually last about a year. Its a very small amount to pay to avoid getting hurt and having a great vaping experience.
