"Ancestry" sounds all glitchy, like "The End" by c418, and sounds like it would go in the end dimension or Deep Dark. Lena Raine does a great job of sounding like c418's music, even in the other dimensions. Ancestry sounds A LOT like c418's end music, and "So Below" sounds just as sad, melancholy, and echoing as the original nether tracks. Not only is she paying homage his styles, she's even keeping track of Leit Motifs. The glitchyness of The End, the melancholy ecoes of the nether, the kalimbas and brass twinklings of the overworld.

Stand Tall giving me Breath of the Wild vibes. That is a _very_ good thing. Left to Bloom sounds nice. Really hope it plays specifically when you're in or near lush caves. Ancestry is great for really deep caves, and sounds like it would a fantastic track for when you're in the Deep Dark. The picture used in the video for Wending is great, since it really fits flooded caves. I can't explain why, but Infinite Amethyst sounds really nostalgic to me somehow. One More Day sounds a little unlike something we've heard in Minecraft before, but I really like it so far. Floating Dream sounds like it came straight out of Volume Beta, and sounding like C418 is a hell of a compliment. Comforting Memories makes me emotional, and I always enjoy a song that can do that! An Ordinary Day has moments where it sounds like subtle Volume Alpha vibes are trying to break through, and that alone makes me like it.

Reacting for the first time: - Stand Tall is LITERALLY Breath of the Wild and Celeste OMG, i love it ♥ - Ancesrty fits perfectly in the Deep Dark biome and the ancient cities - Infinite Amethyst sounds very nostalgic but magic and mysterious. Also VERY Celeste like - One More day seems like Lena Raine tried to assimilate C418's style, and it's incredible - You can notice the style of every composer. Floating Dream is more calm than all Lena's songs, but also fantastic and very "Minecraft-y" (Also a little touch of BOTW OST) - Kumi's compositions are perfect for a peaceful night in minecraft. I'll like to hear Comforting memories with the Fireflies of The Wild Update - An Ordinary Day is cute and I really want to hear it actually playing Minecraft

All those "comforting memories" of the old days when minecraft was simple make me get so nostalgic. The game is different now, for the better, things will never be the same as when I was a littel kid. in a way, Minecraft is like a best friend to me. It's been there almost all my life. As the game has constantly grown, so have I. Sometimes we haven't talked in a while, sometimes we do something I'll never forget, sometimes I get annoyed with it. But it will always have a special place in my heart. One day I'll play minecraft for the last time, and I hope to make the most of every moment of the game. First of all i wanna say, Lena Raine and Kumi Tanioka thanks for the music it sounds great Im gonna be theorising about the music like a nerd and the following may be a fanmade continuation of Wifies and Game theories minecraft theories go check it out Stand tall is just very cool and it perfectly pictures climbing a mountain and standing tall Left to the blooms is very nice and ambient, but the name left to bloom implies people were here or maybe even camped there and the cave was left to bloom by our civilised ancestors Ancentry... very interesting to say the least, this tells us the deep dark cities were made by our ancenstors and not wardens, and i also wanna bring out the fact the ravager is/was a villager so the warden might have been a monster they created like the wither and ravager, i also wanna say the skulk catalyst consists of xp and the only people who can contain shite ton of xp? Our ancestors, and the only things that can kill in the deep dark are creepers and fricking wardens in their time. Wending sounds like youre in the middle of going to the deep dark ocean and at the border of the bright sun blanket in the water so it very well captures the water cave thing, thanks Lena Raine Infinite amethyst is just really cool and echoey , love it One more day sounds like wending but higher in the water and an almost there feel, ancestors boating their way out of the deep dark? Wow! I love how Stand Tall gives oh so small hints of one of the main MC melodies (Sweden I think but I'm not for sure). It also reminds me of Flower, a very beautiful game. I love the crackling of Ancestry, it reminds me of disc 11. It would be so cool if Infinite Amethyst could be forced to play if you put enough amethyst around. Maybe the amount of amethyst changes the music? Or, you don't get the full music with placed down amethyst. Floating Dream also reminds me of Flower. A lot. Like, is that legal?

Thats really interesting the idea of dynamic music, though I feel that it could make some songs barely heard during gameplay as they need specific circumstances to play.

great playlist! I literally sat open mouthed at my screen when I first heard the new music they made for this update and it's great to have it all together to be able to listen to it while I'm doing my homework. Very calming.

Stand tall sounds like it's from Breath of the Wild(which is very much a compliment). Left to Bloom is really cool and the one synth sounds like it's Portal(kinda). Ancestry is awesome and gives me the OG nether and end music creepiness. Wending will add a great feeling of emptiness to the caves, which is what I need more of! I want to feel desolate and alone dammit! Infinite Amethyst also does a great job making me feel isolated :) One More Day is just like the rest of these and has an amazing build up. Floating Dream is cool, its a great reward for climbing super high mountains. Comforting memories made me nostalgic so good job for it ig. An Ordinary day is pretty good too

I don't know how they managed to make these songs so close to the simplicity of the original sound track. Mojang really picked the right artists for this.

Just heard what appeared to be new music in Minecraft (playing the 1.18 snapshot) and immediately ran here to find it. Of all the tracks to hear first, the one that played for me turns out to be called Comforting Memories. When I caught sight of the title, I felt the fleeting urge to cry. Happy tears. A beautiful little moment.

Is it just me or does Infinite Amethyst seem kinda scary and sad like it invokes a sense of dread in me for some reason especially the first 2 minutes of the song reminds me of everywhere at the end of time and mid to end just give me goosebumps but then again I might just be insane.

@@gladiusbladeofthenorth9939 yeah, the repeating section of both use the same notes. (im gonna use really innacurat symbols to explain v for low note, - for middle, and ^ for high note) in subwoofer lullaby its v ^ - ^ in comforting memories, its v - ^ -

I feel like this new music isn’t just a soundtrack, but a love letter to the game itself…. To show how far the game has come… it’s almost like a self retrospective.. for both You and Minecraft.. So amazing. And I feel like infinite amethyst is gonna be the future’s version of Sweden, and comforting memories (my favourite) is the future’s subwoofer lullaby :)

I never said I thought they were being removed or played everywhere I just feel like the new updates, especially the music in said updates feel less like Minecraft and more like a really good mod that doesn’t feel like vanilla but is close enough

@Andrei Salvaleon yes but the difference with those was a. They were still c418s particular style and the features themselves, at least in my humble opinion, felt like they embellished and improved upon the creativity the game had already allowed, as opposed to feeling somewhat bloated.
