i know third person looks good, but first person is better for actual building guides because in first person you can see the block that you are selecting. either that or make subtitles saying what block you are using. otherwise we are just guessing if we arent super familiar with all of the blocks in the game.

Just build it myself, and I dont see in the slightest where it was confusing. There were 2-3 moments at the interior where you wont saw where he placed carpets, but thats it.

I loved this build, I modified it quite a bit though. I pretty much made the full exterior of this house but replaced everything except for the cobblestone, bricks, chimney and oak wood stuff with Cherry wood (since my base is on a Cherry Grove mountain) so now it's super pink lol. For the interior I turned the bottom floor into a storage room which expands into a hall way (where the kitchen is in the original) with even more storage, then all the work benches (potion making, enchanting, cartographer, smithing etc) and stuff are upstairs. It looks beautiful on the outside and it's also super functional as a base. It's also a really fun base to decorate with different stuff (I'm thinking of adding some copper Docm77 goats around the exterior or maybe a custom tree). I might modify the decorations outside to be more of a Japanese type build. Though I do have a 1.20 Iron farm (one that uses a 7 wide border of path blocks) nearby and it actually really fits the build, like the Minecraft version of a zen garden since it looks so clean and isolated. Though I would like to actually make a Zen garden of some kind. I actually learnt a lot about building from this build, like what building techniques look good. Like, one technique is having the logs in the framework being offset inwards from the longest side by one block or the stairs having inverted stairs in them or the roof using stairs and coming around to a single spine at the top.

Trying to follow this tutorial is driving me insane. There needs to be more instruction. Exactly what block you are using would be a good start. After putting down the first barrels I can’t tell if you are putting stairs or slabs, then the next bit of next says to put stairs all the way around, so I do that and find out you’re throwing in barrels every now and again. I love the build but this tutorial is not clear

Cute build but the tutorial is poorly done. Exact layouts, proper placement of blocks are unclear, starting with the foundation of this house.
@Goldrobin

What's exactly unclear about it?
@mynyx1344
10 ай бұрын
@@Goldrobin To start, foundation, the lines, it is unclear if it goes to the end of the line of if the end block is counted for the perpendicular line. Suggestion: clearly indicate what is included in the line, like using an outline or using a block that is countable. When starting the build itself, it is unclear where to start the beams. Maybe a birdseye view for placement with block counts to show where to put columns? Those are just some ideas. Like I said, the build is beautiful, just wish it was easier to follow.

He is the worst building builder I have ever seen in my life, you never know what he is using where, he speeds up the construction of one place and immediately moves on to another. It is not clear what he takes in his hand, where he puts it, on which step, how many blocks he puts it, the worst building video of all time.
