I needed more bricks in the end than what was listed, but that wasn't the only thing, stripped spruce logs, concrete and spruce stairs were also not correctly stated how much would be needed. Luckily most of that i had spare materials of to make more but I have a real shortage of clay so that's gonna be a big issue for me. I thought i just miscalculated how many stacks i would need of the things that exceed 64 but it happened over and over it simply was that he used more blocks than he said we needed to collect. Still a nice build but its causing me more and more of a headache to properly build.

My favorite thing to do inside forges is to use a magma block close to the front then use a netherrack lit on fire in the back. The magma block looks like hot coals and then you have an active fire. This looks much more like a real blacksmith's forge. (My late husband was a hobbyist blacksmith.) BTW, put magma blocks under your camp fires in fireplaces to look like a nice bed of coals.

4 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy, hows it going? I've never really built anything Thai but I would probably start with some good clear images so try using Pinterest or google images. Tyports suggestions are really good and probably the same way I would go about in that style. Look for the key elements in the build, so for me that would be roof shape, building heights, are they generally small or big builds, do they have a lot of balconies and shape and size of the windows. Also look around at the area in the picture and make sure you choose a good biome to match up with the colors and vegetation style. I hope that make sense lol. But finding good images should help just make sure they are clear enough for you to get a good idea of the style. Let me know how you get on buddy 😀👍

I've been binge-watching your Dock City series, and I have to say: I absolutely love your building style! It's perfect for building medieval cities with houses standing next to each other! Watching your videos has actually helped me understand how to make houses that are flat on some sides, yet protruding on the others. And turns out it's a lot easier than I thought! Will need to practice some time, building some houses of my own, utilising everything that I've learned here. One thing I have to mention though, is that I don't understand why you always used full blocks for the floors instead of slabs. After all, they would save some valuable head space on the lower floors, making the interior feel slightly less crammed.
