Ffestiniog Railway Steam Loco "Linda" ex Penrhyn Mainline Hunslet makes a racket as it heads for Minffordd station, having left from Boston Lodge Halt. This crossing is known locally as Lottie's Crossing, after the crossing keeper who lived in the house to the left for many years.
The house is still owned by the railway, one of a number along the line which were build for members of staff.
During 2020, the Ffestiniog railway operate a restricted service, where vintage compartment stock operated in the service trains. To allow social distancing, these carriages had additional separation, and were booked to only permit a single household per compartment. One of these trains is seen here, showing the popularity of these trains in difficult times.
