Like I was saying in the video I decided not to replace some of them that are facing outward on the stick, that way I don't break one off if I am digging a trench.

Do you have a source for parts? I broke the swing gear in mine and haven't found a replacement yet

How well does it dig?

it digs well, of course it will depend on the type of soil you are digging through. It may struggle through hard clay and rocky soil a bit, but it will do sandy loam or loose dirt or gravel no problem.

I believe the difference between the h12R and the h12 is engine Hp. Our machine uses a 15Hp version.

@@mandmlandscapel.l.c.clarem1130 From what i have seen, the 13.5hp engine and the 15Hp engine look identical in size and shape. It may be that the RATO (15hp) is tuned to put out more horses than the Briggs, and that may have to do with engine longevity as Briggs and Stratton tends to be a pretty reliable engine
