Have you had this cutter on your VIO55 ? If so how did it do? Trying to decide on a cutter for my VIO55

Cool. I use my JD CTL 333D with a land pride 72" cutter to mow the backside of my pond dam. It works well.

yeah its just like using the thumb you have to hold the button down with your finger which kinda starts to hurt after a while. the skid steer has a button you can press that locks the flow on so you don't have to hold anything

State and country DOTs around here have similar setups, but hey use flail mowers, which are more like hammers with sharpened edges. They can cut weeds, or brush, wood up to a few inches. those flail mowers are on mounted on a hydraulic boom. It's serious enough that all the tractor operators are inside enclosed cab. They do quite a number on the brush growing out into the road.

I wish my county and state where intelligent. Our general maintenance crew uses batwing mowers pulled behind the tractor. Makes no sense since we can some steep ditches.

Nice Vid, but im gonna keep telling you to spend a 100bucks for a removable steel mesh screen between you and that mower!

Doesn't that quick stop and the blades slamming together damage them. Just curious it sounds terrible. Neat tool though, and nice vid as always.

That's a pretty handy piece of gear, a lot easier than a weed wacker and a steel blade.....

Does that mower not heat up the hydraulic fluid to much?? We were told by the local salesman at the New Holland dealership that running a bush hog from the auxiliary hydros would heat up the fluid and burn the pump up! He said it was made for a thumb or other accessories that didn't run constantly. Nice vids keep em coming!!!

so your thumb control is a button on the stick you push with your thumb? Interesting, my little Hitachi has a foot pedal to the left of the track controls for the thumb. do you prefer the thumb controls on the stick?

Nice, but it seems like your Takeuchi with the brush mower does this way faster.

Has this machine ball valve in hammer hydraulics return line ? open it, so return line will pass valveblock directly to tank and mower will not stop immediametely. How about that you remove these blades and put thick chains in their place? Slagcraft uses chains which are 10mm or 13 mm thicnes of the chainloop.

You seem like a hypocrite, you don't want hired hands to scratch your equipment but you abuse other peoples equipment.
