Would not the motors run cooler through the fresh clean air outside rather than inside can run other base test outside

Actually that's a good point. But what we wanted to do was be in a controlled environment. Being inside and hovering simply illustrated the minimal increase in temperature that the covers could produce. I would suspect that flying outside while in flight might actually produce results of little if not any increase in the motors temperatures. Thanks for checking out the video and making a comment. I had purchased a set of engine covers previous to noticing your review thanks for that. I don't know that anybody has had issues with grit in there motors unless they crashed there drone will you be running with on from now on Regards Geoff

@@geoffreymarks-rodger725 I have no plans on running the smaller drones with the motor covers. I found it interesting that larger drones have the motors enclosed. The smaller drones having open motors might have been purposely engineered to meet weight objectives. I simply wanted to see if the covers would cause an increase in motor temps. Thanks for watching and your comment.

Did you face any difficulties in connection or something of that sort? I am thinking to get the motor covers. What would you suggest? Thank you! :)

I added the motor covers to find out what temperature difference there may have been. I do not run my drones in inclement weather conditions or in areas that may have particulates in the air, such as a beach area, with sand in the air.

@@airangerguy1847 what @rishitr9566 was asking was about the possible connection interference. Some owners commented that these covers interfered with connection between drone and controller.
