Another Kitten Video. Thought it wouldn't be too long to go over. This is a mini talking so I don't take top comment suggestions, but I do look at comments.
My headcanon is that Starclan doesn't usually let apprentices choose their own warrior names but Flintfang got Badgerpaw's hopes up and they were put on the spot.
@Countcluckular
I honestly love badgerfang. And that he’s this warrior giving people lives while also being baby sized
@seventyleven
the whole "kits not aging in starclan" thing will always be upsetting to me. along with being horrible for the kits themselves, imagine being one of the kits' parents and constantly being reminded that your child never got the chance to grow up and live a full life. sounds like a pretty bad time if you ask me.
@luciaeliade2224
I think Flintfang's characterization between the Warrior Code and Badgerpaw's safety is super interesting as a character flaw. I would love to have a more major character struggle between blind loyalty and their love for someone close to them.
@SpaceInvader42359
Warrior cats HATE feeding elders and are always just looking for an excuse to let them starve. :(
@TheRibottoStudios
I always thought Badgerfang had a cool design quite literally having the markings of a badger. He's also a good example of how you can use a simple or "bad" character (not to say Badgerfang is bad but still) to help bolster other characters which is good writing.
@Gold_Pup
Brokenstar William Aftoned some children, and then he proceeded to be confused as to why they no longer had any more children. 10/10
@inkadoodle
I will never stop asking for mutch beloved purdy
@JRMax-ss6ob
I'd love to see a Talking on Littlecloud now that you've covered Badgerfang 👀 I know other kits survived the era of Brokenstar, but Littlecloud is the only one that really gets much characterization, and he ends up living a long, relatively interesting life.
@BlueSkyBirdies
I think it could be interpreted as Brokenstar had an awful kithood so he took out his hatred and aggression on all the kits he could.

Re: the kittens in StarClan bit. I always subscribed to the idea that cats appear in StarClan as they were happiest in life - which is why, for example, Bluestar appeared to grow younger, while someone like Yellowfang is generally still seen as grouchy and older? Because ThunderClan is where she WAS happiest. The three kits who drowned evidently had their life predetermined (although, in my opinion, it's kind of cyclic? They always would have died, they never would have reached those positions, but that WAS their destiny, theoretically), but most cats, like Snowkit or Mosskit, do not have set paths. Smallstar and his siblings had a "path" on which they could choose any point to ascend to StarClan from, just like any other fully grown warrior or medicine cat, but for the other kits who died, this path hadn't been set.
@Spottedstorm27
I kinda see the Badgerfang thing as this:
@nanamikamiya6500
Ocelot is small. Like his mom. Moonkitti. Moonkitti is the mom.
@KsyTheCatOwo
Can you talk about Lilyheart? She lost her mother and silbing at a young age and she was named after them. Plus she was a good adoptive and supportive mother to twigbranch and she's something of an underrated character!
@RainbowUnicarn
Honestly I think I would like a Lizardstripe talking video! She started off as a warrior but then got pregnant with kits, even though she apparently never wanted to be a mother. Afterwards she then adopted Brokenkit.
@lionclan4575
ngl i would love a breakdown of the (major) villains of warrior cats and just how..... dumb they are. and like i dont mind dumb villains, but so many of their plans/motivations makes no sense. like is brokenstar so caught up in himself he is intentionally killing shadowclan off cuz he hates his clan that much due to his rough childhood? and they had chabces to retcon his behavior more, like i could believe if they later said "oh brokenstar was purposely getting cats in shadowclan killed cuz he wanted his clan destroyed yada yada" but no they just make him, somehow, even more confusing.
@aptekagneva
i don't care that he only exists to make the reader sad, it works. i cry every time i re-read his death
@axowotlz
As the #1 Badgerfang Fan I am very pleased thank you Lord Moon
@jeriko_studios
I feel like the reasoning for Brokenstar's need to make babies into warriors is for two simple reasons
