Love this thing. There are a ton of acres around my home where a weed eater won't do it but a full size machine will not fit. Like a 3ft wide strip between a building and a steep hill. It's rough terrain and a real challenge to manage. There is also a soft area near a flood zone where a heavy machine would just sink. Plus this thing fits through the fence gate.

With that size cutter and the size of the mini skidsteer it would be the perfect thing for cutting walking paths or mountain bike paths in wooded areas. Also would be perfect for trail maintanence on existing paths.

That is a neat little rig. Don't want to burst a bubble but Ventrac with the tough-cut 68-inch bush hog could handle that particular area for probably half the price of the machine. And also have a larger cut. Of course, it won't mulch it up, but with the versatility of the Ventrac, you can always have another clean-up attachment with you, such as the power bucket and or landscape rake.

This great little mulcher is like a crevice tool on a vacuum cleaner; just the right size for hard to reach areas but too small for a big room. I really appreciate the demonstration. Ferntree sells an OSMA SSK 90 and SSK 100 mulching head for STL's. Downside is that these heads are rated for 35+ hp and at least 15 gpm. This head seems perfect for most STL's with a 25 hp motor and 13-15 gpm hydraulic systems. I have been looking for a mulching head to compliment my Blue Diamond mowing deck and this would be a sweet addition. THanks.
