WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW!
Much like Mini Test 70, this fire alarm setup is based off a fire alarm system at a hotel, except there are far less mysteries, and the hotel that this setup is based on is much smaller.
This setup is based off the fire alarm system at the Holiday Inn Express somewhere in northern Indiana near the border with the lower peninsula of Michigan. The original signals I believe are SHG's (although when I went there, I thought they were GMS's due to my extremely limited knowledge of fire alarms back then -- more on that later), Gentex GXS strobes in the bathrooms near the front entrance, and the pull stations were indeed Notifier NBG-10LX or BGX-101Ls (which confused me because that was the first time -- that I remember* -- seeing a BG-10 pull station not branded as Fire-Lite, and thought "Notifier?! I thought Fire-Lite made those pull stations," again, due to my extremely limited amount of fire alarm knowledge, and found it funny seeing how the last four letters of the word "Notifier" were the same letters used in the word "fire" except that the E and the R had switched places). More than likely, it was a Notifier system (haven't seen the panel).
However, the only time I went there was way back in 2002, so the alarms to the right of the GXS weren't there when I was there. So, how did I know that this hotel had a ZNS and a SpectrAlert Advance horn/strobe? Well, out of complete curiosity, I looked at pictures of the hotel property, and there happened to be some alarms that definitely weren't there in 2002 when I was there. For the pool room, there was a 360° panorama image of the pool room, and it appears that the SHG in the pool room was replaced with what appeared to be a Wheelock ZNS. As for the SpectrAlert Advance, I remember seeing a SpectrAlert Advance notification appliance in one of the few pictures of the fitness center (although, at the time I originally wrote this, that one photo from the fitness center appears to be Photoshopped in a way to make it look like the alarm isn't there -- whoever's responsible for the photos has a tendency to edit out fire alarms in their hotel photos). I do not know whether or not the Advance replaced an SHG unit.
Also, at the time I originally wrote this, I just noticed on the hotel website that the hotel was undergoing renovation from January up until the end of June 2016, so this setup may be considered out of date (this would not have been the case if I had uploaded this at the time that I originally planned to do so -- but given the fact that it's been more than a year since that renovation, I could probably say that the renovation did not involve any fire alarm replacements or additional coverage).
