Definitely the trick I learned a year ago and I wish I would've known it earlier when the pandemic hit. Covid got me going natural and I had 4c, thick, shoulder blade length, healthy hair that I didn't even do the big chop. It's a bit longer now, but it probably would've been longer had I know to twist earlier and leave the hair alone since manipulation is usually the main reason for hair not growing.
@xXxXjocelyn

Best low maintenance and I’d say zero tension style I personally like twist over mini braids because the detangling process is easier and much faster my twist parts are half the size that size they last about a month and I can wash my hair while they’re up if I band my ends it’s really a game changer.

@@jacquelynn2051 especially when my hair is throughly detangled with the tangle tweezer, I can only do medium and large 2 strand twists without my hair getting tangled. they don't take terribly long. if you detangle right you can leave them in for around 2 weeks at a time. you can find a few episodes of a show to binge, if they're small you can just trace them with your fingers like the girl in the clip, and just twist absentmindedly while you watch. it takes care of hair and gives you something to do instead of snacking while you watch. i have locs now but that used to be my go-to hair strategy

Girrrrrrl thickening shampoo is for ppl w fine hair. You can have biotin and all the extras, but use a moisturizing shampoo, hydrating. Volumizing and thickening actually have harsher cleansers to dry the hair out so fine hair isn’t flat and greasy so easily. Your hair is lack of moisture. Beautiful but all curly hair types are, the curlier the more moisture it needs. Switching to a curl line would also help! Smooches!
