In the age of social media hauls and sales tempting us to buy things we never need it’s so refreshing to see you encourage minimalism!! I always find it difficult to let go of some things but your idea about thanking it for the memories and letting go makes it so much better! This video is just what I needed to motivate me. I can’t wait to start decluttering my wardrobe this weekend ♥️

Somewhere my heart attracts what I want.... today mrng I unpacked my 4 huge suitcases after my travel...I was shocked to see how many clothes I have .Also felt very sad that i spent lot of money on them. Some of them dont fit me and some are so dull after one wash. So I thot let me stick to minimalism and buy good stuff/good quality from good brand only once in 6 months ...and then this video popped up...so I think I am on right track guided by universe :)

Childhood onwards my mom teaches me: if you get something new you should give away something old to keep a good energy flow... It was difficult for me due to remembering good memories from those objects and also for the amount I invested on them. The changes need to happen slowly and I think I already did a great progress on minimalist life, thanks mom and thank you Saloni for the content! Love from Brazil 💕🌱

This is the video uploaded in the high-time in my life. I'm gonna move into our new home soon and have started packing. OMG! I have too many things to get rid off! Few methods as you mention are really effective. We got the best possible result from the first method when my family first moved to the home we are currently living. My father is such a minimalistic man! He jokes, 'I earn the most in the family and spend a little! You three(me, my sister and my mother) are such impulsive shoppers! You only regret when you have to pack!' Ohhh yes, Saloni, we are waiting for the TEDx video.

Do make a part 2 of this. Would be great if you could make template and share with us especially categories and subcategories that scream for declutter. Bed sheets, towels, stationery, old toys, decor, curios, wall decor, furniture, garden items, tools, kitchen and makeup can have 50 sub-categories between them. Old bottles, takeaway cartons and boxes, textbooks, notebooks, receipts and bills . Run a contest to see who comes up with the maximum suggestions. Then do a series on how to declutter, organise and a purge schedule

Hi Saloni, all of your videos are awesome and so this one too😊 I am currently doing a massive de cluttering at my home and facing various problems.. as I live with my mother in-law and she still is keeping all the material possessions of my late father in-law like dresses, bags, shoes etc.. I know it’s an sensitive issue.. but it has been 11years he had passed away, and we live in a 2bhk apartment.. so you can guess how difficult it has become for 4 people( I have a son) to manage the storage issue.. but I really found your information helpful and surely going to try this out in my process of de cluttering.. by the way I would like to ask one thing, if you don’t mind, would you like to share the costing for the wardrobe you have in your bedroom.. because I am looking for a similar custom solution and want to know an approx cost estimation..
