“If you ever get lost, get back to the basics.” Love that! I need to get back to The Proverbs. It settles me with wisdom. Melody, the last part of the video was so good. Maybe do a whole video on this topic? Hope, endurance, cultivating light, a positive mind in challenging times. I think you have a lot to share in this area. Peace be with you dear one, and Pat too. 🦋 Virginia

Awesome detailed tips - I needed this. I especially liked the write every task/to-do down and then do it another day. I've run into the problem where every day I'm doing too many truly essential tasks and never resting. I'll try this tomorrow - thank you!! I feel like I can't relax due to so many medical appts I can't avoid. Then to-do's and home tasks pile up because I spent so many hours at the doctor's office, then I get overwhelmed, more stressed, and less relaxed. Unfortunately I can't do the empty calendar in regards to medical, but I avoid unnecessary events and stuff like that.

Being mindful and having gratitude! Such wisdom! Thanks for the advice about stretching. I’m a classic over-achiever and need to make realistic goals for starting everything. Otherwise, it’s all or nothing for me. Budgeting self care sounds perfect. I love your idea about reviewing your habits. Again, being mindful of even the little things. Love this video!! You never disappoint. 😍

You do have to be “gentle on yourself” and as I agree I also have to admit I am very hard on myself and have worked very hard in my life. Good news: I have slowed down. I recently commented here that I, also (like you), love an empty calendar. The Pleasure Principal according to Freud. I would have NEVER thought of candles outdoors-fantastic idea. Very beautiful. Speaking of beautiful I don’t like to comment on people’s outer shells very much but I have to give you a genuine compliment on your impeccable minimalist makeup today and your gorgeous top or dress. That looks like something Peruvian Connection would sell and that is the perfect blue for you. I read their catalog regularly and have a couple here I haven’t got to yet. I do purchase from them but try to be careful because I could easily ask them to send me one of everything they sell. Except I’m sensitive to wool. Their clothing is high quality. Their customer service is perfect. I’ve been wearing one of their tops from last summer almost daily, I love it so much. They get inspiration from old tapestries they find from ancient cultures. Some of what they make is cotton and the most comfortable cotton you’ve ever worn. Their clothes do not wear out on me either. They wash well and look new after a cleaning. Great job on today’s video. I’ve been laying here waiting for it for four hours. Thank you. I’m glad to see you as always and you are extra informative, beautiful, and happy today. Thanks!

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I've been slowing down too. I took a whole day off for no reason, and plan to take a few more during the holidays. It's good to recharge and recenter.

Hey, it's Melody!:) Frankie said relax. Now Melody is telling me to relax. I better relax! But it's so true. I really pushed myself too hard this summer. I had heat exhaustion twice in one week! The thing about heat stress is that it's cumulative. If you don't give your body enough recovery time, you can hurt yourself really bad. And here in Florida, we have a 9 month summer! So we have to be careful. And an outdoor person like me, I have to be conscientious about staying hydrated and as cool as possible. Later!:)

I'm making a clear-letter sign that says "relax" as we speak. I need reminders to relax and breathe often, but what great days they are when I'm mindful too. Take care.

Totally, when I demand too much from myself, I start being too demanding towards my loved ones too. That thing doesn't help to maintain a healthy relationship.

Hi Melody! :) Would you be interested in doing another MBTI video? I'm an INFP, and my fiancee is an ENFP. We seem to be in a bit of a rut. We just bought our first home, and we've been really struggling with trying to find balance in our lives! So many things don't come naturally to us, but we want to grow and learn. (we're struggling with things like: Organization, relationship, happiness, stress, connection, etc) ~ Thank you so much! :)
