I don’t think it matters how we approach the topic of Jesus. People will always be offended no matter how we bring it up. I’ve always been told we have to talk about it in a sensitive way, but if that’s the case no one would ever get saved.

Yeah, I think there's truth in that. Christians can definitely veer too far the other way where they are so worried about how to talk about Jesus that they never get around to actually talking about Jesus. At the same time, there are plenty of verse in the Bible that suggest that the manner in which we conduct ourselves and communicate to people still matters to some degree (1 Peter 3:16). Sort of the difference between a friendly and genuine conversation with someone compared to jumping strangers in the streets and yelling in their face about their sin and need for Jesus. We shouldn't be shy to speak of Jesus, but I think we should also be wise about how we do so, since we may inadvertently cause someone to harden their hearts toward Christianity by our conduct.

I don’t listen on KZitem, but I had to hop on here to comment and let Daniel know that he’s completely wrong about all the other Alien movies being terrible after Aliens. Resurrection wasn’t great but interesting. But when Ridley Scott came back, he made two more really good ones in Prometheus and Alien Covenant!

I object! :) Resurrection is, indeed, terrible and borderline unwatchable. But I suppose Prometheus and Covenant were both okay, although It's been awhile since I've watched either one. I do remember liking Prometheus at the time, and that Covenant had some good moments. I need to watch those ones again. I didn't really care about any of the "creation of life" stuff Scott kept wanting to explore though. Just give me a scary alien hunting down some humans and I'm happy.
