@@alexanderla6468 You mean like a tray? yeah there hard to come by in NZ. Ive got one that im making a mould from to make carbon or fibreglass panels from and also going to make doors, guards and bonnets eventually. Also started making custom front flares too.

Great truck. I have had my truck for about 13 years. It sits in the garage most of the time. Always starts. Thanks again

I’ve had this one for about 2 years so far and my long bed one for about 7 years. It’s never let me down. But since fixing all of the rust and body dropping it I’ve found little things that need to be replaced. The other one was in better condition but I kinda ruined the floor.

Mine is 79 rn40. Pretty much neat unless at the same spot as you showed at the rear arm chassis. Done few things already. Currently changing the flywheel and front pulley oil seal pouring oil especially when speeding.

@@AdamNZ quite similar as yours. Lower it with 3 inch block. Cuz mine was no air conditioning so just installed it few weeks back. Currently replacing old weathered bushes at front linkage and suspension. Can't wait to drive it again soon. Cheers mate!

@@jimmyyu4224 I dont think mine did either. I just removed the middle leaf and flipped the bottom leaf in the rear over the weekend. I didn't film it but it lowered the suspension a couple inches more. I'm thinking about making the rear pivot link 1-2 inches shorter as well?. I can see the diff tilting forward tho so that needs to go back the other way!!.

@@AdamNZ thinking the same tho. Makes it look way cooler than blocks. Good luck tilting it. I agreed its not gonna be easy.

@@jimmyyu4224 My other Definitely looks better standard, I'm just using 2' blocks because I'll need to certify the truck any more than 2 inches and it cost $650 to do as well. Eventually I'll do the coils and 4 link or just straight Nissan or Toyota rear end, I just don't have much time or money at the moment with my internship.

Nice one, they are soo sick. I’ll have to follow your channel. When I had Instagram I had photos from years ago of the Silvia suspension conversion that I’d made for this other hilux I have. I’m still going to finish that one I just need some funds to trailer it back from my hometown which is 18hours drive plus a 3 hour ferry ride away.

@@AdamNZ a good suspension will be needed on one of these. Been offered a SBC 305 for practically nothing kinda hard to turn it down so might just have to go into one of these trucks. I'm not new to building but very new to recording a video of building lol, trying to keep remembering to turn on the GoPro.

This crazy has finally given me time to work on my 82. It’s a LN44. My fuel tank was rusted out so I went with a fuel cell because I can’t find a tank at least not for cheap.

That’s great to hear, It’s good to get motivated to work on projects, I have to go back to school now as COVID is at level 2 in NZ. I had to throw away a mint tank and heaps of other things from my other LN40 but a few years ago now.

Just started our school holidays. I need a massive garage to do the body drop. I probably won’t start until I can at least find somewhere to do it. Not keen to do it out on the road.
