@@StillKeepOnLosing Dude... you're not even good at trolling. I was hoping to have some fun with you, but you're too st*p*d to stick with a coherent thought; You said we "love mediocrity" and I corrected you that we actually "live for it", and then you say we WON'T like KOC because he's bad? If we love or live for mediocrity, we'd love a bad coach, right? If you're going to try to be a troll, at least be fun to mess with. OK, lunch time, and this lesson, are over... back to class. Vikings fans are so easy to win over, you just have to have a nice smile. He seems pretty likable as a person, but he wasn't hired to be our buddy, he was hired to turn this team into a contender. He has yet to demonstrate that he's capable of doing that. So far there are far more concerns than things to be optimistic about.

Interesting to hear KOC speak about all he has to go thru during a game from calling plays and also being the HC on the sideline and managing the entire game not just the offense. I've brought this up a few times on this forum regarding many of the game flow decisions as well as some of the play calling. I think we all can admit there definitely has been issues in the past. I won't harp on it but its nice to see KOC is cognoscente of the issues.

On the discussion afterwards, I think KOC is showing more and more every day he is a better head coach than he is offensive coordinator. I think he is holding onto the playcalling, because he enjoys it and he wants to be able to say he was good at it. Also, he can do it in the future if he must. But some guys are just better leaders when they can rise above the minutia and perform at a macro level. The Andy Reid’s of the world is who comes to mind, and I think KOC is one of those people.

Softball questions, but KOC came across a bit more mature, seems to have learned his limitations and now is trying to adjust to what the front office is doing. KOC has more of chance to remain around than KAM. As for hot dogs, we are in the middle of June and I can only think of one instance where I had two chilli dogs. On the other hand, I am way above the cap with burgers 😂

I dig KOC as our head coach but I have such difficulty listening to him speak. He's so monotone and flat in his delivery, every word gets the same emphasis and the tempo of his diction never changes. It doesn't help that he seems to be able to speak for ten straight minutes without taking a breath. It's pretty rough sledding trying not to get distracted when he's talking.

He's a great front-man, and seems to keep his eye on task, not flapped by media. My concern is beyond that - last year's play call selections and timing that were obviously bad, that cost us a few games.

Judd really spreading his wants on thick. Asks a question about JJ. KOC says there’s not a time table. “Do you even have time to spend with Sam being spread so thin?” When KOC never spoke on how’s he’s spending his time with any player. KOC “I’m in his helmet every play on field.” Because he’s the starter. Judd isn’t going to get behind Sam at all this year if he plays well I feel. Just a lot of “he should play well with how good the offense is”.

The thing with Ahi tuna crisps--it all depends on the situation. If you are in a seaside bar in Hawaii, absolutely; if you're in Moline, IL not a chance. Phil is wrong about people standing up when the plane lands. Some people have short connections. Some people need to get to the toilet. Some people are just tired of sitting for 3 hours. Unless they are politely informing the other people of a short connection, they shouldn't push forward, however. Oh, and KOC is great. He was surprisingly forthcoming about the goal of the process with McCarthy. When people say the Bears are going to better than the Vikings, my first thought is that we have a better coaching staff and I trust KOC and Flores.

Think you guys are forgetting about the best case scenario with JJ. What happens if after five or six weeks it is clear to the coaching staff that he’s definitely the future and ready sometime this year. And Sam is rolling right along and having a good year but maybe not as much team success. And then an injury happens and somebody comes looking for Sam. That’s the best case scenario

So, you guys are talking about how long is it going to take someone to change their footwork or feel comfortable with the basic set ups. With J.J. Macarthy not having a lot of pass play in College. Compared to any of the other rookie QBs. Do you think it would be simpler for him to change and not fall into the old habits when the preacher get hard? For an example... I work as a line cook for about 10 yrs. I had always have something in it place, but someone has moved it to a more convenient area for everyone. But some how I will more often then not, try to use that one item, and I tend to reach for were it was. IT'S ALL ABOUT TIME AND BEING CONSISTENT WHEN DEALING WITH ANY CHANGE.
