Welcome to my first scooter video!
In this video I'll be covering how to removed and replace your air filter and how to remove your spark plug but what it SHOULDN'T look like when it comes out!
Now before you go cracking into your scooter, taking things apart and removing things, always CONSULT YOUR SERVICE MANUAL. Your service manual really is your best tool when your starting out tinkering with your scoot, especially if you're like me and have no mechanical experience. It actually tells you how to do most minor maintenance and repair as well as list off specific parts info about your scoot. Here's the link to my service manual: www.scootersanfrancisco.com/do...
Here are the details on the parts I replaced:
Air filter - oil coated paper element
Spark Plug - NGK/CR7E
The air filter was $12 at Action Motorcycles - www.action-motorcycles.com/
The spark plug was like $7 at Lordco but as long as you have the Model Number (CR7E) specific to your scoot, you can find spark plugs at any automotive shop.
These parts were very cheap, even for in store prices, but by all means search around online to see what other shops are offering.
