Rocket Money doesn’t sync with Apple but they have a clever workaround that allows you to download and integrate Apple Credit Card data in .cav or .ofx format at the end of the month.

Inflation has a greater impact on people's cost of living than a crashing stock or housing market, resulting in an immediate and tangible effect. This explains the current high level of negative market sentiment, and our need for assistance in surviving this challenging economy. The financial markets have underperformed due to fears of inflation, causing stock and bond prices to plummet. Despite sounding basic, consulting a financial advisor has enabled me to outperform the market and achieve a profit of $850,000 since June 2022, making it the ideal approach to enter the financial markets today.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, constructing a solid financial portfolio has become increasingly intricate. Therefore, I strongly advise anyone facing difficulties to consider seeking professional assistance. By doing so, you can access tailored strategies that specifically cater to your individual long-term goals and financial aspirations.

The financial advisor I work with is *STEPHANIE KOPP MEEKS* . I discovered her during a CNBC interview and contacted her thereafter. She has been guiding me by providing entry and exit points for the specific securities I focus on. If you're interested, you can search for her online to learn more about her expertise. I have been following her market strategies and have had no regrets thus far.

I do not like Tiller . Too much fussing on your end and you have to pay them 79 a year to do so. Its not a log in or one click solution. If you dont need budgeting there seems to be free alternatives. Also while Mint is ending, they are going to have functionality in Credit Karma. So It may be worth seeing what the revised product looks like. Nerdwallet is another that is free. No budgeting there I think.

Empower seems ok overall. Karma does not let you track more than one home unless you manage the value manually. Empower does not auto calculate the Vehicle values. I liked the notificaions Mint had but not sure how that works with Empower.

This is precisely the reason I stopped using social media and other online services in general. There's never a guarantee that the systems I put in place will be (or be supported) there as I age. There WAS a time when you could get a lifetime guarantee for a product (from toasters to checking accounts) and there'd be a legacy/repair/maintenance plan in place so customers could trust the company. This was especially true for companies owned and managed by employees themselves, and it's still true for European companies (e.g., Mondragon in Spain). It doesn't have to be this way. We have such a wasteful economic system...it wastes our time too by creating products and services that are NOT built to last...they're just built for profit.

Hey Rob! Thanks for answer my question about the schwab funds. Those tickers are currently what my hsa is invested in. You said not to hold those in a taxable account. Is an hsa a taxable account? Or does it turn into one when I turn 65? If it is at 65, shpuld I gwt out of those funds/use up the $$ inside it before 65? 🤔 thanks! 1:23:36
@rapfreak7797

An HSA isn't a taxable account. What he's generally talking about is the annual taxes you would pay if held in a regular brokerage account. A lesser discussed aspect of the HSA is that you can withdraw funds in retirement (I forget the exact age this starts) without incurring penalties and instead only pay taxes. In effect, it can be treated like a traditional 401k/IRA should you need those funds. Your best bet is to only use HSA funds for qualified medical expenses as you avoid taxes.

Is the Mint website closing, or just the app? I can't find information on the website, before or after I log in, that says it will be shutting down, which seems strange if it is shutting down. I've never used the app, but use the website all the time.

I wouldn't call Empower's application a budgeting tool. It's a tool that tracks your transactions. Budgeting to me involves planning expense and income on a periodic basis which for most of us is monthly. A budget would also include any positive or negative variances. To me, Quicken and Tiller accomplish this well. Simplifi, YNAB, and others of that ilk utilize the envelope of method of budgeting (annual expenses prorated each month) and that's fine if you do indeed set those amounts aside. But when I have homeowner's, umbrella coverage, auto insurance, and property taxes that come due on an annual basis I'm more inclined to want to see when those major expenses happen in a budget so I can be prepared.
