This is why it's important that we write down the things in our own lives. Thank you Glenn from Texas

George Q Cannon, who was my ggrandmother, Leonora Cannon Gardner's oldest brother, also went to Hawaii as a fourteen year old orphan missionary and stayed for years, and Erastus Snow is a cousin of Lorenzo and the brother of my gggrandfather William Snow. Thank you for sharing these special stories, they mean a lot to those of us who have family connections with those who shared in that great work.

I listen from Roosevelt Utah. Glen we love you. Your Sounds of Sunday messages got me through 15+ years of Oilfield Sabbath Day work weeks in Utah's Uintah Basin Oilfields. On Christmas Day 202q I was afflicted with a terrible nerve disorder and suddenly became Quadriplegic Paralyzed and therefore physically disabled from the cruel effects of Guillian Barre' Syndrome. So I can't go to church because of this horrible disease. But I van certainly listen to your Firesides and stories still. Please keep doing this. Your messages touch more hearts than you know. Thank you thank you thank you Glen!!❤

Thank you Bro Rawson! These stories are so important to be shared. You did a wonderful job. I now have more appreciation for the miracles that the Lord provided to the people of Hawaii and the missionaries that served there. 😊

I've heard that story before in church when a brother said his father was in that same sick bay with that Japan pilot and that he was alive. They were looking at each other while he was being treated. He said it was all this LDS brother could do to just lie there look at him and not want to get up and harm him. You've told the rest of the story.

Unfortunately, the story you told about the temple has been researched fully, it cannot be authenticated. It is a story that has been told and re-told but countless hours was spent in trying to find anyone who could corroborate it but not one person could be found that talked to the supposed pilot first hand.
