In this video, we delve into the controversial figure of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the self-proclaimed prophet and founder of the Ahmadiyya movement. Born into a family with close ties to the British colonialists, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's father served the British government during the Indian Rebellion of 1857, raising questions about his loyalties and values. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad himself boasted about his family's support for the British.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's main book, "Tadhkirah," and his other publications stand out for their narcissistic style and lack of resemblance to major religious scriptures. The revelations he claimed to receive were in incorrect English and Arabic, suggesting errors and discrepancies uncharacteristic of divine revelations.
Mirza Ghulam not only claimed to be Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, Abraham, Noah,David but also Krishna, Mariam, Ali(the 4th caliph), (peace be upon them all), and finally, God.
According to the Quran, God will not forgive shirk (association of partners), so what about a person who himself claims to be God? It again contradicts the Quran because the Quran states that a person given revelation calls people to God, not to himself. A guy who gets divine messages is supposed to point folks to God, not set up a fan club for himself. But in Mirza's playbook, it's all about the Mirza show! Reject him, and you're labeled a disbeliever. Plus, he's like a jumbo pack of prophets, claiming to be the real deal or some combo-pack of all prophets rolled into one. He even claimed divinity.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad made audacious claims, asserting himself as the Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, Abraham,....and even God, contrary to Islamic beliefs against associating partners with God. His publications contained indecencies and blasphemies against revered figures like Prophet Jesus and Mary(Peace be upon them)
Furthermore, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's name, meaning "Servant of Ahmed," raised theological questions, and his alleged revelations in multiple languages contradicted Quranic principles of sending messengers in the local language.
The Quran, according to believers, does not foresee future prophets after Prophet Muhammad, calling into question Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's claim to prophethood and the necessity of his numerous publications.
No explicit clear-cut predictions of any prophet or Imam (Khalifa) are in the Quran. Whereas we see predictions of a comforter and prophet to come in the Bible and Hindu scriptures. The Quran acknowledges the scriptures sent before it but does not mention the existence of any future scriptures after itself, which believers must have faith in. The Quran mentions sending prophets to every nation in the past, indicating historical events. There is no indication of sending prophets in the future. While the Quran references past books and prophets, it does not mention any future books or prophets, nor does it specify the need for a prophet or Imam to come after Prophet Muhammad. “And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger,….”(Quran 16:36)
In the past, prophets were sent when a nation had not received any prophetic guidance before or when previous revelations had become corrupted or adulterated, necessitating the need for new divine guidance.
“And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].”(Quran 2:4)
This video critically analyzes Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's background, claims, and publications, challenging his self-proclaimed status as a prophet and the credibility of his revelations. The discussion aims to provide a nuanced understanding of this controversial historical figure.
